I personally kind of doubt it bc he was already out of development window. Karim is Karim and has been for years. He has some clear strengths and useful points, but also a pretty clear set of limitations.

HAving said that, what pissed me off more was that he got them into CL. He was top scorer and that won them the league. To turn around and just not include him in list was bizarre personal vendetta. Next coach wanted to play him in CL and reinstated him as starter, but ofc he wasnt included in the initial list. That was a real namardi.

It was one of the dirtiest tricks I'd seen in football. They crossed off Ansarifard from the CL list even though he was a starter and leading scorer.

They drew one game. The damn coach that crossed him out too wasn't even in the club for 3 months! It was always very fishy to me. I wonder if any greek football fans know what actually happened.
