Good performance. He took his goal brilliantly. He seems to have regained a bit of speed. Good hold up play and physically dealt well with what was a basically first choice united backline (with Lindelof for Varane).

Dont really give a shit what omonia do with this result but this goal/performance will be huge for his confidence leading into WC. Now 3 strong teams in a row (Uruguay, Senegal) he has showed he can contribute and more than hold his own.

      Casemiro is a fool.

I can’t remember the last time that he played a full 90 min game - don’t know if he has it in him anymore. He was worked really hard in that game so can see why the sub happened.

Karim was saying "See CQ, I am perfect for the counter attack. Pick me! PICK ME!".

He was also excellent in his brief display versus Uruguay if you recall.

Real Madrid know how to sell when a player is on the decline. Basically replaced him with Touchemani and haven't looked back

Puts me at east knowing we got Karim given Sardar's recent injury.

Unfortunately, a bad narrative has taken place with Karim Ansarifard.

I have heard some people refer to him as "bum" or something - the fact he has had a stellar European career and is still able to hold his own for 60 or so minutes against some great teams.

He started against Real Sociedad. He started and scored against Manchester United.

                He's a no-brainer for our final 26-man squad.

With Sardar possibly missing the WC, I think Karim has a great chance to start up front with Taremi

Why would SA be missing the WC?

He's out 6-8 weeks. He may not be fit enough for the WC

My bad. I meant to say last time Karim played a full 90 but yes the same is applying for Casemiro at United too so far.

If I could ask any footballer just 1 question, it would be Karim, and wtf happened in Olympiakos? His goalscoring was on fire, and the fans loved him...

They gave a good account of themselves vs basically full strength united. Ended in 3-2 Loss.

Karim's turn around from sort of weak season with AEK last year to strong start with Omonia and for TM has cemented his place in squad, and although I think Azmoun will make the WC Karim will be critical as he likely will not be in top shape.

Playing with lone CF is not option for TM and never has been - at leats not a good one. Taremi is too isolated, and our winger alternatives in that setup (Gholi, Torabi) with ARJ on other side have shown repeatedly that at the top level they struggle to make an impact. Likely one guy starts up top (Karim, or if he had been fit Sardar) and Taremi off left like usual, but getting close enough to each other that they can always connect.

Seda & Sima censored the hands up portion of his post-goal footage (I saw a clip to verify this news)

This regime shows how strong it is - everyday. 🙃
