The Austrian agency organising the games and the training camp confirmed to me last week that both games will be played behind closed doors due to safety and security regulations set by the Austrian authorities.
The game should be broadcasted and will be covered by media.
are you sure ?

Broadcast games are not good for analysing hoorad joon . Since you only see what camera is showing. Teams are not stupid to spend lots of money on scouts to go in the stadium and analayse each player and coach behavior and tactics.
The friendly game against Uruguay is the best test Iran can ask for.
Uruguay is one of the most decorated South American teams in the history of the sport. After wining the first ever World Cup in 1930, they went on to claim it one more time in 1950 and ending in Fourth place three times after that in 1954, 1970 and 2010. They have won Copa America at an astonishing 16 times in 1916, 1917, 1920, 1923, 1924, 1926, 1935, 1940, 1942, 1956, 1959, 1967, 1983, 1987, 1995 and 2011. Twice gold medalist in Olympics in 1924 and 1928 and also gold medalist in PanAm Games in 1983.
Uruguay has produced the finest footballers in its history who have played at top clubs around the world. Luis Saurez, Edison Cavani, Diego Godin, Fernando Muslera, Maxi Pereira, Diego Forlan, Cristian Rodriguez and many many more.
I cannot wait to see how Iran measure up to such good quality team.

yea true but the main question is do they have smiliar features of teams in our group? Specially England and Wales.
We desparately need a game against a decent european side (for preps against Wales and england). Canada friendly would've been awesome for preps againts USA but too bad politics messed it up.

why would you think Canadian players have similar features to the US players ? the only thing the US and Canada have in common when it comes to sports is a shared border and maybe Hockey. 90% of US players play either in Europe, or the US. There is actually a much longer history and similarity in style of football between the US and Mexico and other central American countries than with Canada.
The only outcome from that the friendly with Canada would have been extra scouting report for the US, England and Wales. It was a friendly with no objectives and for the only purpose of filling up the pockets of the promoters.

You're not serious are you? Canada whoop USa's ass and took the top spot in their group. So I dono what you're talking about man. It would've been a great friendly for us.
USA 1 - 1 Canada
Canada 2 - 0 USA
It would've been great friendly for us. Also the only reason Uruguay wants to play against us so badly is because we have played against south korea in the group.
