How could you say losing to Spain 1-0 on a FLUKE goal and tying PORTUGAL isn’t good enough when we looked like the ABSOLUTE INFERIOR team to ALGERIA and S.KOREA?? How can you honestly say you’re not more confident now with CQ on our bench? Cool Skokic qualified us to the World Cup because we beat (honestly/respectfully) some minnows but we don’t owe him anything for doing that.

Why not? He could also just be a good assistant for CQ & this is also the opportunity of a lifetime for Neko, in terms of coaching right now - coaching alongside CQ at world cup (and if we do well, even better for him).

It's definitely possible, but I believe it's way too early to simply assume that Neko being assistant managers definitely means he's the next manager.

Morocco just fired their coach as well. So this isnt unheard of and we arent the only team. Federation gave Skocic a chance after qualifying but his job preparing the team wasnt up to the standards of CQ. They should have made the decision immediately after the Qatar camp but it is what it is. Look how quickly CQ has built his staff, cleary he has anticipated taking this job over and has been preparing.
