I still think this poll was a good idea so that we know the sentiments around here. My prediction is that if we have a free and fare referendum in Iran on Islamic Republic Yes or NO, the NOs will get the same 90% that CQ got. Hopefully that day will come during my lifetime.

if there is refrundom in iran i.r will lose for SURE.

I would argue that it does not represent Iranians. In fact I believe more people are against than for. This poll only represents Persian Football. If you go in a couple of rooms on Clubhouse about Team Melli you will see that it is the other way around over there. A great majority of Perspolis fans cannot stand CQ.

We should have got a different manager (balance on offense and defense tactically) some one better or at same level of CQ. IFF is messed up and wasted this opportunity.

Very solid support to CQ... And taking that 5% of it doesn't make a difference into account you can say that its even higher than it stands. CQ is a proven man. Man of his word that has brought prestige, respect, unity, and most importantly professionalism to the national team. We saw how all this fell apart under Wilmots. And I think any decent fan appreciates and thanks Dragan for the job he did. What we need to keep in mind is that this is not about loyalty and its about actually what's best for Iran and the national team. At the end of the day you know what CQ brings to the table and we can be sure that our opponents in the WC now will not be sleeping as easy having him at the helm.

This is CQ 4th world cup and if you look at the list of all time world cup managers there is only 8 other coaches that have been to more world cups (4 or more attended). Once he achieves this there would only be 2 other coaches who have coached more at the world cup at 5 and 6 tournaments.

Carlos made our TM competitive with the likes of Argentina, Portugal, Spain, etc. He loves Iran and fights for us to have good preparations & camps as much as he can. We should have never let him go in the first place, we are very lucky that he is taking on such a high risk position now to come back and guide us through the WC.

Skocic maxed out his potential against Asian opponents, and the games against S. Korea & Algeria's B team were big red flags regarding his abilities. We are about to face world class opponents, and for that we need a world class coach.
