Who will be crossed off the TM list by CQ?

I'm not his biggest fan. But Nour has a very high active motor that CQ loves. Wont be surprised if he makes the squad (with a diminished role).

CQ has already approved Shoja apparently.

Only one who is in the squad and participated and might be dropped is Noorafkan.

I think that's a good decision too Nokhodi jan. Shoja, although he's reckless has improved since 2013-14 time. He's matured and is a solid CB. I think he'll make the World Cup squad but may see the bench behind Morteza. Assuming Morteza will get back in to form the way CQ wants his players to be in shape (welcome back GSport tech bras!).

Would be interesting to see if Ramin makes a return under CQ. Have not followed Sepahan this season but anyone know if he's been playing well?

His occasional offensive flashes make people overlook his terrible decision making and defensive positioning.

An article I read said first player CQ asked about is Vahid Amiri. He wants him healthy and fit for World Cup.

Yeah, that was totally cheap shot by Amiri.
People sometime forget where they come from.
It was CQ who first invited him to TM when he was Naft player and barely anyone ever heard his name. . It was the same CQ who made him starter in AC when be was still a Naft player.

Oh okay, I don't know why I thought it was a little bit of both. Because at the time he was also playing reckless while at Sepahan.

This list is of players who have been in the squad for multiple games or camps and have played at least 1 full game for team Melli while Skocic was in charge; it doesn’t include any players who haven’t played but been invited to a camp .


These players are not at Team Melli level :

1. Omid Noorafkan- makes way too many mistakes for a defender , massive liability in the back .


2. Milad Sarlak- not a starter or even bench player , maybe a practice squad player at best ..


3. Payam Niazmand- I just can’t see him making the final squad , too mistake prone in big games


4. Farshad Faraji- too slow, too many mistakes , practice squad at best


5. Soroush Rafiei- he is one of those players that plays amazing in the league , but massive disappointment for the team Melli , practice squad at best


6. Kamal Kamyabinia - again the same as soroush, good at Persepolis but not good enough for Team Melli


7. Mehdi Ghayedi - massive talent , with a massive ego and super lazy , I can’t see him making the squad


I hope these players are not invited anymore and we see 7 new players replacing them in the camp .


Ahmad Nourollahi, Hossein Kanaanizadegan , shoja Khalilzadeh these 3 players they definitely have the talent to be on the final list , nourollahi personal I think he is better as a substitute than a starter,
Kanaanizadegan and khalilzadeh they both super talented and can start in the main 11 , but they just have massive discipline issues plus they cause drama as well idk, if CQ wants that in his team.

For most these players mentioned they might be ok for the IPL but international I just can’t see them being able to handle the pace and pressure .

How do you guys know all of these? Or are these just speculation?

I think CQ will choose players who fit his system and strategy and this may exclude certain players regardless of their quality. Give n our opponents in our group he will emphasize even more on physical fitness.

any reasoning? Omid was one of CQs most trusted guys through asian cup and is in phenomenal shape. Ditto with amiri, but his presence would depend on his fitness.

You know how Milad Mohammadi shared CQ played scenes from "Saving Private Ryan" before the Spain match? I think CQ should play the scene where Kanaani ignored the ref's whistle and allowed Japan to attack. He should play it over and over again before every match.

Besides that I vote Kanaani in. He has his moments but he's alright in my book. Definitely no Nourollahi who's inconsistent. One match he assists a goal, contributes in plays that lead to goals and prevents the opposition from scoring. Then in the following match his passes get intercepted 5 times and he commits unnecessary fouls. Keep Kanaani but boot Nourollahi.
