    I think, this is a very reasonable list. For obvious reasons CQ is calling those whom he knew from before as he wants to see their condition and as for the rest, those represent more or less the best performers in the current domestic league which I am sure those who have been following it can attest to it;

    GK Alireza Beiranvand (age 29)
GK Hossein Hosseini (age 30) --> low chance of making the final cut
    GK Payam Niazmand (age 27)
DF Ramin Rezaeian (age 32) --> at 32 and considering his record of past few years, he will have low chance of making the final cut
DF Morteza Pouraliganji (age 30) --> at 30 and his recent gaps, he would have a low chance of making the final cut
    DF Omid Noorafkan (age 25)
DF Saleh Hardani (age 23) --> low chance of making the final cut
DF Aref Aghasi (age 25) --> He is one of the best league has produced - CQ will pick him
DF Abolfazl Jalali (age 24) --> very low chance of making the final cut
DF Mehdi Shiri (age 31) --> very low chance of making the final cut
DF Armin Sohrabian (age 27) --> low chance of making the final cut
DF Saman Fallah (age 21) --> low chance of making the final cut
MF Mehdi Torabi (age 28) --> low chance of making the final cut
MF Milad Sarlak (age 27) --> low chance of making the final cut
MF Mehdi Mehdipour (age 28) --> low chance of making the final cut
MF Mehdi Hosseini (age 28) --> low chance of making the final cut
MF Saeid Sadeghi (age 28) --> low chance of making the final cut
MF Reza Asadi (age 26) --> very low chance of making the final cut
MF Mohammad Karimi (age 26) --> low chance of making the final cut
MF Mohammad Khodabandelou (age 23) - --> low chance of making the final cut
MF Yasin Salmani (age 20) --> He is needed
FW Mehdi Ghayedi (age 23) --> Not sure!
FW Mohammad Mohebi (age 23) --> Not sure!
FW Shahriyar Moghanlou (age 27) --> low chance of making the final cut

    A few who have left out;
MF Vahid Amiri (age 34) --> too old and injured

    And those who play their trades outside of Iran;

    GK Amir Abedzadeh (age 29)
    DF Ehsan Hajsafi (age 32)
    DF Sadegh Moharrami (age 26)
    DF Majid Hosseini (age 26)
DF Milad Mohammadi (age 28) --> low chance of making the final cut
    DF Hossein Kanaanizadegan (age 28)
    DF Shojae Khalilzadeh (age 33)
    MF Alireza Jahanbakhsh (age 29)
MF Omid Ebrahimi (age 34) --> he is good, but at 34 against England, Wales and USA what can we expect?
    MF Saeid Ezatolahi (age 25)
    MF Ali Gholizadeh (age 26)
    MF Ahmad Nourollahi (age 29)
    MF Amirhossein Hosseinzadeh (age 21)
    MF Saman Ghoddos (age 29)
    FW Sardar Azmoun (age 27)
    FW Mehdi Taremi (age 30)
FW Allahyar Sayyadmanesh (age 21) --> keeping figures crossed for this guy!
FW Ali Alipour (age 26) --> low chance of making the final cut
FW Karim Ansarifard (age 32) --> he has done his service. At 32 won't be able to contribute much at WC.
FW Shahab Zahedi (age 27) --> He could come handy should one of our strikers get Red or injured.

Overall, that is what we have and CQ will need to find his gems among these players.

Well I don't know that! There were rumors that Sgoh was going to drop dissidents.

Skocic. It's like how we used to call Branko Brangoh

Personally I think Skocic doesn't deserve this, he didn't completely and viscerally poison the soil of TM for 10 years. He was just out of his depth - those drills...

Love to inclusion of sadeghi, Fallah and khodabandelou

Hate inclusion of Shiri, asadi, and sohrabian who are never anything close to TM material. Don’t like ghaedi inclusion either.

yup! he should be added to the list and I am sure he will be. But he has picked up a new injury!

One thing I was gonna mention is that let's please not insult Skocic. He is a great coach and a nice person. He managed to get us qualified and that should be respected.

Unfortunately skocic lacks the kind of skills that world cup demands in a coach. He needs more experience. I blame the federation failing to recognize early enough that Skocic is not the guy who can lead us in the world cup. They should have started their search as soon as the qualification was achieved. The idiots at IFF kept dragging their feet creating a confusing situation for players, coach and the fans. I dont know what were they thinking about? Every one of us here could have made that determination.

That said , please lets refrain from name calling. Skocic deserves respects.

Ali Karimi must have reinjured or aggravated his injury as he has not been in any of the team practice photos the last couple of weeks and he has obviously not been in the squad for the last few games.

Ali Karimi and Vahid Amiri have been invited too. I think as observers as Amiri only started training with Persepolis again, and Karimi is still out.

Reza Asadi has been one of the better players in the league to start the season and single handedly kept Tractor afloat with 3 goals. I think he might be a dark horse to make the squad especially with the lack of midfield depth. Either him, Mehdipour, or Sarlak.

I thought the same about Mohebi being the type of profile player CQ likes to have on his team - physical and athletic winger.

some barbaric behavior from some members here . What has skocic done to us that deserves to be called names. Poor guy has been abused from day one . First IFF abused the guy , then mehdi taremi , and then fans started and then again mehdi and some other players and now he has been sacked. poor guy did the job for us without any hers or ghose.
