Hossein Mahini has been arrested and moved to Evin. Both ARJ and Mehdi Taremi have posted his photos on Instagaram.

      Go Mahini!

No more of this. No more of tolerating these miserable motherless f*cks who don’t give a shit about us! Marg bar Jomhurye Eslami and the supporters who encourage their crimes against humanity!
General and honest questions to anyone (not just IRN):

So do we round up all the morality police (let's say all the women for the sake of argument) and smash their heads in to cause a coma and death?

Do we do this to tens of thousands of IR supporters (Iranians)?

What do we do with their children and grand children who then hold a lifelong memory of this purge, and then decide to rise up in 40 years time against the current government? Do we keep purging them?

Do you see how this cycle will continue? (Shah smashes skulls that lead to IR in 1979. IR smashed skulls that lead to revolution in 20xx. Government x smashes skulls that lead to revolution in 20xx...)

I know our emotions are high (rightfully). I know that I'd PERSONALLY want to smash some skulls if my sister/mother/daughter was killed by this criminals. But I want you to think about what we would do as a SOCIETY.

You’re a better man than I am diz jaan.

I see your logic. But on the street, if they are oppressing others - then self defense and rules of war apply.

I like idea of tribunal and life imprisonment and hard labour. Hell, working an actual job is probably worst than death for these moftkhors.
"This is a totalitarian system whose presence people feel in their blood and in their flesh on a daily basis. And it’s one that does not grant freedoms of any kind, or accommodate people’s demands in any way. What is increasingly clear is that there is clear demand for change in the regime. What the people want is regime change, and no return to the past. There is a very real possibility of regime change." - Nasrin Sotoudeh

In revolutions, the highest of the high usually escape. Even after Nazi germany fell, alot of their elites in intelligence and technology were either moved to countries like the US or UK, or given new identities and allowed to live their lives as before essentially.
Then some random dude who baked bread for some barracks, gets torn apart (literally) because he was the easiest target to pick.
The revolution is coming, it will succeed, but we have to ask ourselves about the day after - do we want to make it about petty revenge, or actually changing the country.
By the way what I'm saying does not mean guys like Khamenei get off free - no, not at all. All should be tried, and exposed for their crimes against Iran and Iranian people and then sentenced to jail forever!

We're starting to get ahead of ourselves here. I do find it amusing that in general on different forums, the more people have shown indifference toward this regime's "undemocratic" conduct, the more they're obsessed with "democratic" treatment of IR criminals now!

But this doesn't even matter right now. What matters is that we have not overthrown the regime and are locked in a WAR. A war with scum who've committed crimes against our people that even foreign armies would refrain from.

No Iranian can possibly be in the dark about the atrocities this regime has committed, therefore they can't be given a pass for endorsing it or pretending it's some 50/50 issue. This means those who directly commit violence must be fought by any means possible, and those who enable the violence through declaring support or making "neutral" comments (like Amiri) must be shamed and ostracized. A major part of winning this war involves making unprincipled people understand that ingratiating themselves to the enemies of the nation will cost them social capital and a place in mainstream society. And that's the bare minimum.

Anyone who commits a crime can be held accountable by a court of law. Perhaps even judged by peers. But you are right...eye for an eye will make the world go blind.

In the end Islamists have existed in Iran since Safavid dynasty. They aren't going anywhere. Same with Shahis, and other groups. This is the reality of the melting pot that is Iran. Now that pot can tip over and scald us all or it can cook something meaningful for all of us to share in.

The way to deal with Islamists in a free Iran is simple: Anyone who has committed crimes against citizens should be tried in a court of law and handed their punishment. Those who've only kissed butt like Torabi can be left alone, but it should be made clear that their cowardice and opportunism is not forgotten. This last part isn't about revenge. It's to discourage that disgusting mentality like any culture should. It's both fair and necessary that there be a difference between the social standing of someone like Mahini who risks his neck to support his countrymen and weasels like Torabi or Amiri.

There are different levels of butt kissing too... So I think we should assign each citizen a score of 1-10... And tattoo it on their forehead so we all know who we are dealing with right away!!! Baba jan, if they have not committed any crime, they should have as much right as anyone else. We have to learn to live with people that we disagree with.

A French Revolution guillotine of all the supporters is not what should be happening now.

Iran has laws. If the death penalty is one of them or lifetime jail that is up to the people and parliament at the time.

If someone worked under IR and committed a crime they need to be tried and they need to face their punishment if found guilty. Acting under "the guidance of Islam" is not an excuse. If you killed someone you better be facing the consequences.

                        1) Morality police- without support those people are powerless and laws should be passed banning them. If the members decide to regulate other peoples clothing there should be strict laws to dissuade them.

                        2) The majority of IR supporters are sandis khor, poor people who have been brainwashed, religious without understanding the concept of coexisting. They should not be the target.

                        3) Our goal should be to target the highest up members of IR as that would provide the most 'relief' for all the suffering people who are asking for revenge. Remember, this has many levels. Are we going to let them go into exile abroad? Do we send spy forces to kill them like IR killed so many people? We have to think these things through because of consequences.

                        4) Despite all this, everyone should understand that in this scenario, IR is vulnerable and no longer exalted to be immune. For their crimes(violence) they would be equal to MKO supporters and should be treated as such. Maintaining the peace is great. Without proper law and order it will be impossible to maintain. The families that have suffered from people in IR are not going to just allow them to get off scot free

I went out of my way to clarify there shouldn't be physical punishments for ass kissers and you still post nonsense like this. What a waste of time.

There are women and young people getting shot on the streets right now and we have people worried about being "mean" to parasites who support it! What a joke.

Anyone with common sense can understand that shaming shameful behavior is not only reasonable but necessary in a normal culture. Those who agree with evil enable evil. And it's only reasonable that they be treated less respectfully than those who risk their necks to take a stand. This is just common sense. If you still don't get it please ask someone else because I can't make it any clearer.

Imagine every republican president did this to Democrat voters and vice versa...what would become of the USA or any other democratic country? Hate is not the answer. Holding people accountable is one thing but criminalizing beliefs and views is just a covert way of setting up political prisons. I don't think anyone in Iran wants political prisoners and prisons.

Do you ever have a normal take about anything??...Anything at all??

You honestly think supporting murder of women for "improper hijab", being ok with mass murder of 1500 protesters over just 3 days, and not minding rape of political prisoners is just a matter of opinion??

There is no way Iranians don't know about these issues, and there is no possible way to be neutral about them! So the genius take here is that a person who supports this crap or thinks it's no big deal is just a guy with "different" views??...Are you serious with this stuff?...

Some of us either have no clue about what actually goes on in Iran, or they're revealing a lot about themselves here.

Well that's enough aggravation for me tonight. Honestly some of this stuff is beyond pathetic.
