"This is a totalitarian system whose presence people feel in their blood and in their flesh on a daily basis. And it’s one that does not grant freedoms of any kind, or accommodate people’s demands in any way. What is increasingly clear is that there is clear demand for change in the regime. What the people want is regime change, and no return to the past. There is a very real possibility of regime change." - Nasrin Sotoudeh

[QUOTE=O-ZoNe;2845018]Originally posted by IranFTW View PostStop over reacting! You take everything out of context. Of course murder, rape, etc are crimes. Believing in Islam whether you agree with it or not is not a crime. Just an FYI. Even if a person believes women are less than men...trust me many such individuals exist...still not a crime unless they act on it to the detriment of others.
To be quite frank many people in Iran from peasants to elite unfortunately have no clue what is going on and believe contrary views. Many believe the west is formenting unrest. Many of these folks don't want to believe their loved ones died for nothing defending IR and their homeland against Iraq. Stop being a keyboard warrior...some people are truly revealing themselves.
You can’t even read plain English you poor soul. I said multiple times, in detail, in language that a kid could understand, that there shouldn’t be a physical punishment for mere opinions but only a social discouragement as already exists in ANY sane culture.
In today’s world if you support Nazism you don’t get to be treated like a gentleman. The same should apply to Iranians who support these criminals and it already happens thankfully among ordinary Iranians…so unfortunately the concern trolls abroad who care about the treatment of these criminals way more than they care about their crimes (!) don’t even have a choice. Hopefully you’ll get over it guys!
Multiple posts explaining this simple concept and you STILL don’t get it. And I know for a fact that everything I wrote just now will go over your head too.

I used to think there were ulterior motives with the weird anti-CQ obsession, but now it’s clear the issue is… eh...something else! In real life you and I would never talk again after the first time, and now thanks to Essi for explaining the ignore list, the same rule applies here too. This is where you and I go our separate ways buddy. You’re gonna have to waste other people’s time now. Enjoy

Just to highlight what kind of person it takes to support this regime, and how ridiculous the "they don't know!" excuse is, this is the kind of disgusting scenes ordinary Iranians see on the streets. Weasels like Amiri and Torabi don't live under rocks and they see and hear all the things the protesters see.
Few people in the world are consistently brutalized by their government the way Iranians are. If some don't care, most Iranians do.

Another young girl killed by the regime and her body found 10 days later. In her last text to her family she said she was running from the thugs Amiri was crying about:

Regime supporters don't lack information, they lack a conscience. Find another excuse.

Maybe the people who say TM should be boycotted or players shouldn't play for TM now or even not go to WC, don't mean that by doing so the government would be hurt.
Maybe they're thinking, how can you represent a government (when government decides who the coach is, who the selected players are, where you have your camp, which teams/countries you're not allowed to play against, and when government officials "escort" you the entire time, then you're working for and representing the government a bit too and not only the country) that's doing what they're doing to the people right now.
If people risk their life and go to the streets to protest, if some famous people risk all what they have but at very least voice their support of the people on social media (and get arrested for it or their properties confiscated), then our multi-millionaire players can also show dinner solidarity.
Heck, go and play the game, but why do you let three government dictate how you behave while you don't even live in Iran? Remember the support of players in the Asian cup for "jonbeshe sabz” (let me not voice my opinion shit that right now)?!?!? That's the difference between men and boys. That's the difference between risking a lot for a greater good/goal than what unfortunately most people suffer from: everyone wants freedom, equality, good ethics and morals but they don't want them to cost them anything. Heck most people don't want it to be an inconvenience of it means having to pay for it, missing a meal for it, missing your favorite tv show or sport club.
When ever you're not prepare to die when fighting someone who's prepared to kill you, you will always lose. So don't half-a££ it and don't be a hypocrite. Either admit that the price is too high for you and your not willing to pay/risk it or stop whining about it and try to rationalize/justify why it shouldn't cause you want inconvenience.

Gol gofti Babak Jaan....
Also, remember the team "Melli" representing IR.Iran now will sing this anthem at the world cup, before every match. The anthem that ends with:
پاینده مانی و جاودان ...جمهوری اسلامی ایران (be eternal and ever-present, ISLAMIC REPUBLIC of iran)
Payande mani va Javedan, JOMHOORIE ESLAMI - e - iran.
Nah...I'll pass.

Shaming people is 100% what we should be doing. The criminals should be tried and those who publicly supported IR should be shamed - and boycotted if need me i.e. actors shouldn't be given jobs etc. Nothing wrong with this approach!"This is a totalitarian system whose presence people feel in their blood and in their flesh on a daily basis. Second, if the security situation for the freaking Austrian friendly camp was so severe that players couldn’t even post a message on their social media, what makes you think it will be better during the World Cup? If they have to IR will confiscate all devices and station a guard outside each players room.

Still a low point for PFDC imho, together with the anger against Iranian medics here at the beginning of pandemic.
Love your recent art by the way
