What changed was that before and after CQ, we didn't have any official ways of reaching out to these players (and we don't now). CQ contacted them directly and spoke to them about his plans, had an actual vision he wanted to fulfill. So yes I agree with you that the current coaching staff are bums

You wanna know what Ghalenoei staff has done to try to recruit Zahiroleslam? GN sent Alhoei to ask random journalists and fans on Instagram if Zahiroleslam has interest in TM. That's it. They don't even know where to find his agents/club. And the federation doesn't care enough

Yes we did. That’s what I’m trying to say. We had a ucla educated coach who reached out to him but dejagah declined. don’t know for sure, might have made the decision based on sport reasons.

And how do you suppose fery zandi ended up in tm? by accident or someone reached out?? please when you don’t know or remember a little history don’t write prescription for others.

Yeah I was also alive during that time 🤣. You have to understand that the difference between all these coaches like GN and Ghotbi and CQ is that he approached them aggressively. Ghotbi was being all wishy-washy about it (and if you remember he had already decided to go to J-league when Dejagah announced his intent to play for us before doing a complete U-Turn). Not to mention Dejagah was still trying to break into German national team until the last minute until the doors closed.

And funny you speak of Zandi because he came out and spoke about how Ghotbi was always wishy washy when he asked about his role and playing in TM lineup.

And yes I'm aware that we had diaspora players before CQ, what I was alluding to is that there is no "official" process. The federation doesn't actively recruit these kids, in fact they sit on their ass until some coach comes along and notices them.

Be realistic. How on earth this kharab Tm would attract those players? We have nothing to offer them. Come to train with 30 ipl/uae players? (Pasfarda we don’t even have a taremi or jb…) We first need a good coach. dejagah and rgn came for cq, not an ipl dallal.

That alone will draw you in.
TM players don't care about coach that much anyways. It's club coach that matters.
What they want from a head coach is someone who can communciate with them and give them a fair chance. These are young dudes who have no exposure to anything but football since they're like 12. Most of them don't really have social skills, actual confidence,... they're very talented children's in men's bodies.

This is all a fantasy anyway, these european players. And let’s forget about even what the players are thinking. First find a coach that is open to inviting them. While ghalenoei is in charge, and not looking like losing his job any time soon, its all fantasy not even worth discussing.
