SA has some phenomenal PR people oil money can buy.

They went from neck-slashing, women abusing, bone-sawing thugs that they are, to the lovable arab country that embraces golf, let's women drive, has CR7, and hosts the world cup. Corporate sponsors will be tripping over themselves to sponsor this. Another 50 years of Saudi royal family rule guaranteed.

Hopefully, by then Newcastle fails to overtake the other clubs and fails like PSG(UCL) and falls off.

"This is a totalitarian system whose presence people feel in their blood and in their flesh on a daily basis. And it’s one that does not grant freedoms of any kind, or accommodate people’s demands in any way. What is increasingly clear is that there is clear demand for change in the regime. What the people want is regime change, and no return to the past. There is a very real possibility of regime change." - Nasrin Sotoudeh

Daniel Arzani just scored a nice goal against Ghoochannejhad’s old club:

He’s likely behind the pecking order for Australia’s Asian Cup squad though

We have some top guys who can help us out right now: Dennis Eckert, Kahveh Zahiroleslam, and even David Stuckler Gharabaghi.

But our lowly IR-affiliated IFF is dead weight and useless. Syria is even outdoing IRIFF.

Would have been nice to have them in the AFC.

When it comes to SK, Saudi, and Australia we have more than enough quality to win against them. Last time we faced SK with full force we tied 1-1 and hit the crossbar several times. The second one under Skocic doesn't count since half the starters had Covid and were missing like Taremi, Ezatolahi, ARJ, Moharrami, etc. And our midfield duo were Haj Safi and Mehdipour lol.

I think we are capable of reaching finals again if we push really hard, especially now that SK is worse than before with the new coach. Japan will always be a beast to beat.
