Most of the players of the Iranian football team today told the boss to support us so that we succeed in the Qatar World Cup, but Ramin Rezayian, the people's star of the team, said, "I want the people to support us to be able to make them a little happy in this turbulent situation of my country."

"This is a totalitarian system whose presence people feel in their blood and in their flesh on a daily basis. And it’s one that does not grant freedoms of any kind, or accommodate people’s demands in any way. What is increasingly clear is that there is clear demand for change in the regime. What the people want is regime change, and no return to the past. There is a very real possibility of regime change." - Nasrin Sotoudeh

I appreciate he wants that, we all want happiness for the people of Iran.

I like Ramin as a person aside from his gherti bazi, but the realistic scenario is what we are seeing now on their social media and wherever the pictures of today have been shared. There is no need to even talk about it, we can see the depth and degree of anger from Iranians in Iran...

For someone like him it has got to be a challenge, IR will be using every opportunity for propaganda, and Qatar will crack down on any anti-IR sentiment as they have so many vested interests in Iran. Most of these players didn't ask for this, but that's the situation they are in.

What these flagshaggers dont realise is that Iranians in Iran are ten times more angry than iranian diaspora.

He has done this before..., more than once.

I guess, we have to accept that these guys haven't come from the highest level of education and awareness. Someone like Beiranvand has worked from nothing to get here and probably for him like someone like Rezazadeh, being fadaye Rahbar is one of the things which has provided him strength.

It's like the Brazilian football players - every single last one of them openly supported Bolsonaro apart from retired Juninho (who is an old-school socialist) and Richarlison (who fell out with Bolsonaro's son over a business deal).

I'm not comparing Bolsonaro with IR, but i'm just saying that we can't expect footballers to be politically savvy. I hope they delete their social media accounts or at least not check their messages.

Daei had the reputation to be living large in Germany, in comfort, whether as a pundit, commentator, coach, whatever.

Note the Palestinian flag in the idiot's handle! These morons ride Arab d-ck while telling you Arabs will kill us all if we don't support the regime!

This much stupidity isn't possible without some kind of mental illness.

Cheap shot by Beiro. Being in ceremony is one thing, ta kamar kham shodan and saying it is an honor being here is another. Specially that they killed a guy from his tribe(Sam Beiranvand).

He also posted in support of Ali Karimi on instagram a bunch of times. TBH do I love these pics from him? No they piss me off. But i am not willing to lump into the amiri/torabi camp so quickly.

Wow, did not know this (IR is killing so many kids, cannot always keep up)

Was he related to Alireza? Shameful thing. He might go on my Amiri and Torabi list.
