This observation is not limited to just me. Anyone who can read Farsi and hangs out in Iranian circles on social media knows how true and pathetic this is. Especially if you hang out with Iranians inside or those who just recently got out.

I promised myself I'd avoid it but I fell back into it again today!

Define "the people". This is standard populist practice of claiming to represent all iranians. It is not up to you to represent the people. To represent the people you need peoples mandates, and by definition there is never 100 percent unanimity. This is just facts and logic.
