At the same time, US parties are supposedly there to defend their own country interests only, not those of other people. Maybe their actions can occasionally match other people interests once or twice but that's not their goal.

West blindly took general sanctions whose effects were on Iranian population since decade. Not only they don't care about Iranian people but they assumed to make them suffer at max so they revolt. In this case, why also add sanctions on Iranian internet and did absolutely nothing to provide free internet to help Iranian revolt?They talk about this since years but only start to remove restrictions in 2022! Elon Musk is the prime example on how he got free ad on Iran back while knowing it was impossible to provide starlink to Iran.

One thing I’ll say about Trump. Despite the difficult and uncomfortable situation he created with sanctions, he didn’t come out on worldwide tv reciting poems by Saadi as a tokhmi attempt to show he cares.
