Except Egypt was there in 1990 and pulled off a 1-1 draw with van Basten's Holland

Cameroon and Ivory Coast happened. Actually, we beat Cameroon at home and drew away, but we dropped valuable points against Drogba and co. If we're not in Africa's hardest group for once, we may actually have a good shot next time around.

              Look at it this way.

Nothings gonna change in the world cup until change happens at the club level and obviously government support to talent.

Akhe ghorboon, Spain, Mexico and Holland always choke. Every single tournament that I can remember! (Well Holland 1974 did well but that tournament I don't recall.)

Spain always advances from the group but gets beat either in the round of 16 or the quarters....pathetic

We didn't play 3-5-2 back then. The system was more like retro-style british 4-4-2 with ALIASGHARI long balls. Your lineup misses Shahin Bayani from the deffence. And Fonoonizadeh wasn't a key player. Abtahi was a starter in every match.

WOW!! I cannot believe you know so little about football back then and then open your mouth. Not only we played 3-5-2 back then, it was huge issue why they played 3-5-2 which I cannot say right now because I am in the carwash!! Secondly, shahin bayani was a sub for TM not starter. I am SS fan, you think I dont know that?? Look at the lineup, It already has SEVEN SS players you think parvin would have put 8 SS players in there?? I will come back later to tell you why they played 3-5-2

P.S. I give you abtahi though. A man should accept when he is wrong, but abtahi and fonoonizadeh got equal playing time though
