Once again a European referee for a SouthAmerican vs European match, bad calls slowing down Brazils gameplay and not showing enough yellows to France who were butchering Ronaldo, Ronaldinho, Kaka and R.Carlos.

The bottom line is Brazil weren't playing well and not even close to what they can play and all France needed was a lucky goal to finish the game.

Zidane was amazing as usual, and this time he played closer to what he played in 98'.

But Portugal got Brazils 02' world cup winning coach and France just made it easier for Portugal to advance.

The better team won.

France have been excellent in these past two matches as a team and especially Zinedine Zidane, who is arguably one of the greatest players in the modern era of football.

Brazil played poorly throughout the tournament just like England and under achieved badly. Both teams have loads of potential but were not able to be at their best in the majority of their games.

I tell you, I have rarely seen a better display of FOOTBALL than what France showed today. That was awsome work by the french team.

It's true that sometimes teams get lucky and get the bounce. But France just took the game from Brazil from minute 1 and never let it go.

There was nothing doing for the Brazilian side that wanted to go through the middle. French had the middle clogged up. Everything went to the sides where it was not their style. Crossing the ball from sides is what France wanted them to do. And forced them to do.

It seemed like if they continued to play for another 90 minutes, Brazil still could not score a goal.

Bravo France. They played a great game. Germany did the same yestarday, but this was something else.
