sure, with the game zidane played, ribery played, henry played(well not that good but he scored the goal that made the difference), and france's whole defense and midfield, i think portugal wont be a problem for them.

i think they can even manage to beat germany or italy too.

the main reason for frances sudden succes is the change of formation.
for the spain game the coach changed the formation from 442 to 451. this was the key.
one important thing is that viera can play his usual role as defensive mifielder instead of rightr midfield (viera on the wing=dumbest shit ever).
with their 442 france was the most predictable team in the world, but now that changed and france uses its full potential.

france defensive midfielders have been excellent and in the french first division, there are many excellent midfielders. for this reason, it could be excellent to have an iranian playing there. unfortunately, it does not happen.
