Respect for him doing it. Even though I don't know the story of what was said by Matarazzi, I'm pretty sure it was some very nasty sh*t.


Something that really hurts emotionally, like something about his origin/religion, or I wouldn't even be surprised if Matarazzi had called his mother some nasty things.

If you watched clearly, you could see that he walked away first, but then Matagoozi said something at the last moment and Zidane returned and gave it to him without any doubt in his mind.

He himself knows the best that it's the WC final, his last game and that the whole world and 45 cameras are watching and recording him, so it must've been some really nasty sh*t Matarazzi said, and I guess sometimes you just gotta do what you gotta do...

Hmm I dont see how it affected them, Trezeguet wouldve missed the penalty regardless...and as far as the game everyone was so tired they were barely moving anymore.

The loss was expected. What I really wanted to see though, was for Zidane to have the match of his life. It's too bad that idiot Materazzi got in the way.

Yeah but I dont see how that affected the outcome of the match? It was in the end of a game where all players were tired and barely attacking...and either way Trezeguet would have missed his penalty.
