no if's and but's about it...Zidane is better than that so its truly ashame he let his country and fans down.

Mazzeratti should have been selected as the man of the match, as the French coach also suggested!
He was the man behind every single action of the game:
1- Giving Penalty to France
2- Scoring on the corner kick
3- having Zidane (one of the greatest footballer of all time) red carded!
Well done to the boy. Great great job by Mazzeratti.
He owned Zidane. He screwed his last game. damesh garm.
But Zidane was a great player, no matter what. He just needs to accept the loss and move on.

Its hard to say, but if racial abuse did occur, then its something FIFA needs to look into. Its sad enough that racial abuse occurs on the stands, no need for the players to participate in it too, and to say that "I did not mean it, only tried to psyche out the player" is a poor excuse.
Would be very interesting to know what really went down between those two. I'm sure there will be atleast 10 different versions though.

You know...had Zidane not head-butted Materazzi and just approached the ref quoting Materazzi's alleged racist comment, I am sure Materazzi would have been in trouble, but we DONT know if Materazzi did infact say a racist slur or something about Zidane's bald head and balls We will never know unless Zidane spills the beans.
There have been reports that Materazzi said "how does it feel playing for an African side ?" to Zidane. Offense aside, since most (if not all) of black players and Zidane in France national side are either African born or have African parents.
