As i said both acts are illigal on the pitch. You cannot punish one player for doing an illigal act and laud another. It is just not right.

But what Zidane did (or Totti's spit) will be punished even if it is after the game.
the maximum penalty for a hand ball is a yellow card, and if it prevents a goal, it's a red card. That's it. and this is when the refs catch it. No future punishment for it.VIVA ITALIA VIVA MILAN VIVA MALDINI

The fifa rule is obviously flawed in this regard, and is being exploited in order to target the victim in this case zidane. The rule should be rewritten in my opinion. The REAL. The LEGEND. Since 2001.

are you kidding me?
So if the ref made a mistake and did not give Zidane a red card, you'd say that Zidane should keep his award?? Or would you say the same thing as you said about Maradona... "Ref made a mistake not Zidane"...
How pathetic.

If ref had caught Maradona's hand ball, considering the rules of that time, he would have just called it a hand ball, that's it!!! but you have to look at the video evidences to see if it was really a hand ball or not! which it was. and there is no rules in Fifa law book that says "after reviwing the video evidences, that hand ball should not be considered a goal and therefore Maradona should be banned". is there?
But what Zidane did, since 1934, has the punishment of a red card and ban for some games. Go up and down, it's the rule!! No Tabsareh...No nothing!
Now go compare a hand ball with a stupid idiotic immoral headbutt!

An intentional handball is not a "simple handball". Especially one that results in an important World Cup goal. Using your hand like that, with the blatant intention of fooling the officials is fully deserving of a red card.

Also, regarding video evidence, there have been a number of reports that indicated the fourth/fifth officials saw the incident from video evidence. Of course, though, FIFA is denying that. But even Lippi himself said in an interview that the fourth official saw the incidence via video replay. Sources are available upon request.

Now we're talking.

You're wrong my friend. Such a handball that led to an important goal, as I said, is a serious misconduct - one deserving of AT LEAST a caution, and not just a mere foul.
So what? I'm not saying Maradona should've been banned. I'm comparing what you said about Zidane to what you said about Maradona. You're saying since the ref missed the handball, nothing should have been done to Maradona. But some disciplinary action should be taken against Zidane just because the referee saw it?
Also, regarding video evidence, there have been a number of reports that indicated the fourth/fifth officials saw the incident from video evidence. Of course, though, FIFA is denying that. But even Lippi himself said in an interview that the fourth official saw the incidence via video replay. Sources are available upon request.
In fact the two incidences are comparable. Obviously what Zidane did is more severe, but both actions are against the laws of the game. Intentional use of the hand merits a yellow card even in the middle of the field when the ball is far from the net. What makes you think a handball that either leads to or prevents a goal doesn't merit a red card?
lol
My bad.
Handball is not an immoral conduct, even if you change the result. and if ref doesn't see it, FIFA does not take any actions after the game to change the result or punish the player.
But what Zidane did, is considered inethical. even if ref doesn't see it during the game, Fifa still ban the player after the game even if 10 days has passed and they found out then! you see my point.
So you can't compare those two actions with eachother.
Also, the laws were milder in that time, so I think Maradona wouldn't get any card then. I might be mistaking though. we can confirm this with Smanhoobi and the older ones who remember those games.
