Yeah thats right you guys might be sick of Zidane bashing but im tired of you guys repeatedly praising the guy after the disgusting behaviour he displayed! Yes he is one of the best players of the last decade, we heard it the first fifty thousand times you guys said it but PLEASE ADMIT what he did was cowardly and 100% HIS FAULT!!! Yes Materazzi is known to be a dirty player at times but he simply was trying to mentally affect Zidane, which worked. It was not a racial remark but simply trash talking which is PERFECTLY NORMAL in ALL sports worldwide! So please take the loss like men and stop discrediting Italy and Materazzi out of your frustration and anger because they are WORLD CHAMPIONS...weather you like it or not, thanks.

Im talking to all the people who continously keep praising Zidane and his action again Materazzi...which is ridiculous to support a guy after such an act. I thought people would have stopped by now but apparently not, your thread just kept continuing such behaviour from the Zidane supporters, and yes your thread did influence mine...if your going to open a thread and tell us what your tired of I will do the same right back at all of you, but its the Italy supporters who are the ones truly fed up with you guys not getting over the LOSS. Lets stop taking the attention OFF the incident and ONTO the championship...which ITALY won deservedly!!! Even if you guys want to keep talking about the incident forever, please just realize Italy are ones who are the victims not France!

I support Italy, and I support Zidane, I don't care about France, they can use as many African talents as they want to represent their country.

I was happy Italy won, but what I'm tired of, is the Zidane bashing, you as a persian want to celebrate Italy's victory that's fine cause I did with my Italian and persian friends, and we even talked about Zidane's stupid mistake.

But I see people outside calling Zidane a "dirty terrorist", "bald loser" etc... and on the forums people have no respect for the greatest player of the last 50 years beside Maradona and Ronaldinho.

Ok man fair enough, and yes I do understand but I just wonder sometimes with the extreme you go to defending Zidane thats all. But I dont see anyone in PFDC calling Zidane a "dirty terrorist" or anything...the majority of us are just defending Materazzi without insulting and so thats why I thought your thread wasnt that necessary, unless you were directing it at the one or two people calling Zidane such names.

1. Zidane's head butt doesnt make him a GANGSTER, cuz it was a sucker punch...mat. wasnt looking and he wasnt expecting it. It wasnt a UFC ring, it was a football pitch

2. What Z did is the worst example for upcoming players, thinking they can respond by violence cuz they wanna stand up for something.

3. That headbutt, (ask any doctor) could have KILLED mat. or hurt him in a really bad way. It was very dangerous and zidane got lucky nothing happened to him.

4. French are lucky the italians are celebrating right now to care about this whole issue. They should hire some lawyers to go after this case and give zidane a more severe punishment

5. If this was someone from Italy doing that, it would have been a whole different case

the bottom line is zidane and materazzi were idiots at that moment, but only zidane comes out of it with dignity and honor, rather materazzi as most intelligent football fans know is a dirty player and will always be one. and calling materazzi a victim is funny because he provocated zidane even though zidane did a stupid thing, and they both got what they deserved for tht situation.

Both fined, materazzi banned 2 games, Zidane goes into community service for a little while.

Italy are the champs, a legend has finished his career.

Materazzi will have many more victims to come.
