Wenger is a crappy coach. He's trying to promote his personal philosophy instead of properly strengthening his team with quality transfers. Wenger would make one hell of a sporting director though, as he's proven he has a knack for spotting young talent.

um not really. he already chooses who to buy and its true that he is amazing at spotting and developing talents, but he sucks at building a balanced team that can win something.

Wenger is building a Squad thwt will be great in 4-5 years time (Mark my words it will be a brilliant squad if they stay together)

but for now the midfielders & depth in Defence, we are screwed as soon as we have an injury...we lack depth severlly

and we need to sack Almunia he is rubbish

we maybe able to win carling cup, and if we can find good form in the ucl, we can have a run there. and lets not rule out the fa cup. and the premier league isn't over until may, plenty of time to overcome this adversity. our players just have to believe!!! maybe we should buy some ****in turks lol

I'm sorry guys but our epl run is by far OVER already.

It's just bad ****ing karma. Look at how many injuries we had for this game: eboue, toure, walcott, rosicky, eduardo (again) and fabregas was suspended.

I really want Arsenal to win a trophy this year. Screw FA Cup.

Let's aim for champs league. We've done very well in it so far compared to EPL!

we must focus on carling cup, our autmatic ticket to uefa cup. and if the players actually want to bring some prestige to the team this season, lets bring home the ucl trophy.

Cesc Fabregas will be named Arsenal’s new captain in place of the disgraced William Gallas – in an effort to keep the Spaniard at the Emirates, and to try to steady the Gunners’ season.

Arsenal were beaten 3-0 at Manchester City after a torrid week when Gallas was stripped of the captaincy, fined two weeks wages and told he could look for another club unless he was prepared to button his lip and concentrate on playing following his savage midweek attack on some of his team-mates.


Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger’s patience with the 31-year-old defender with the flaky temperament snapped in a heated no-holds barred confrontation with the player on Thursday.


Gallas had questioned the attitude of some of the young Arsenal guns and broke Emirates protocol by revealing that there had been a half-time bust-up during the 4-4 draw against Spurs.


The former Chelsea star was left behind for yesterday’s game at Manchester City.


With Fabregas suspended, keeper Manuel Almunia wore the captain’s armband at Eastlands.


But Wenger is almost certain to make Fabregas his permanent on field leader especially as there are concerns over the midfielder’s long term future.
