Arsenal showed character, but Arshavin was really the best player... he set up 2 goals for Bendtner and 1 for Eboue. The other 2 was a penalty and a beauty by Nasri.

Arshavin didn't set up the first goal. He got tackled , and it fell to Bendtner to tap it in.

Arsenal,on their day, are pleasing on the eye. The way the players move the ball around, and with the Emirates pitch being the best grass in England, it also helps. Every player in Arsenal just have one style, and thats pass and pass. However , the big teams can nullify Arsenals threat and expose them easilly as Chelsea and Manchester United have done brilliantly this year.

You cannot win the league with a very average keeper like Almunia. To be fair, Arsenals defence has been very poor. Apart from Vermaelen, the others have been shocking.

One more thing, how many games has Arsenal won RVP has been back fit? lol.. talk about luck

It's funny, Arsenal fans say the same thing.

The simple reality, is that they have NOT replaced the solid back four that was Lauren,Campbell, Keown,Ashley Cole [best back four in the league at that time, invincibles era].

They sold Ashley Cole, and got Gallas in exchange.. has that been a success? No, Gallas can play everywhere in defence, but prone to error, and injury prone. Ashley Cole was the best left-back at that time, and I beleive till today, he's one of the best in the world.

Lauren was replaced by Eboue, whos had a funny career, some flashes of briliance, some just clumsy. Sometimes plays out of position at RM, when RB is clearly his position.

Campbell - of course, he's back at the club, but not the same as before.

Keown - The 'KEY' expereinced defender. The Marshall. The one that talks. The one that will win the battles in the air. The one that organises the back four as a unit. Chelsea have Terry, United have Ferdinand, Liverpool have Charragher, Barca have Puyol.. these are ALL leaders.. With Arsenal, they've lacked that in the back with Keown and Adams leaving them.

Arsenal has not replaced this key area of field, because when a CB is strong, it gives confidence to the rest of the team. Another area, is the Defensive Midfielder role, where Vieira was..

Anyhow, it will be interesting what Wenger will do.

Arsenal have a poor keeper/s, there back line is a solid back line but without depth.

Gael Clichy - He is a pacey and brilliant LB, French International
Thomas Vermalen - easily top 3 CB's of the season
William Gallas - Im sorry but he is still solid he knows how to organise his backs.
Bacary Sagna - Is another solid RB, one of the best in the league, French International

But the problem for Arsenal is that when one of these players gets injuried especially in the CB's we have been relying on Sol and Silvestre. We need 2 solid established CB's in the team so we have depth.

Arsenal's Problem is mainly goal keeping and depth
