he's always been solid at the back for hamburg, no doubt...i just never thought he'd be good enough for a team like Chelsea...i'm sure with Chelsea's budget, they can pretty much get whoever they want at the back

Could this purchase mean that Gallas is really on his way out???

hes talented yes, but like faraz said, not good enough for the biggest teams.

Waste of money, they should have bought Vincent Kompany but now i guess its too late

Any Dutch international is a good buy. Boulharouz is a solid player, and I think hes more reliable then Carvalho. Gallas though is a machine I love that guy, I wish he goes to Arsenal.

BTW if its under 10mil euros its a good buy.

Joris Mathijssen will most probably replace him.

Boulharouz is a very solid defender, i saw him in holland vs Argentina, and he was one of the main reasons that game ended 0-0.

People who are doubting him at Chelsea will be surprised. He comes from an average team like Hamburg and has a last name many would doubt when just seeing it. But he's a great player and Mourinho would know something, if he were to buy him instead of all the other options out there.
