Pakistan U23 win South Asian Games football GOLD !!!

Pakistan won Gold after beating Sri lanka 1-0
Written by Malik Riaz http://www.footballpakistan.com/inde...2120&Itemid=42Pakistan earlier won the gold in 1989,1991 and 2004.FAISAL HAILS PAKISTANI TEAM FOR GETTING SOUTH ASIAN SOCCER GOLD
Finally some good news regarding Pak football !!! After a perfect start of a 1-0 win over hosts Sri Lanka, we were almost eliminated when the boys lost 3-1 to Maldives in the Group stage, only to beat Bhutan 4-0 in the last game to join Sri Lanka in the semis via goal difference.

After all the embarassments of the Asian Cup qualifiers and unimpressive end to the AFC Challenge Cup 06 tourney, some glory All thanks to the determination of the players and our Bahraini coach !!!

The PFF still sucks @$$ though

Now if only we can replicate this form in the real deal, which is the SAFF Cup and win it for the first time ever soon

    Oh well....PAKISTAN ZINDABAD !!!!

Wow...U beat Sri Lanka in the Final...Huge accomplishment hahah

No wonder Paki soccer never develoups...Because they face teams such as Sri Lanka etc..

No offence Bro..But if u want ur soccer to develoup u really really need to concentrate on bringing in a couple of fine players from Europe such as Zesh Rehman...I bet there is atleast 3-4 more of them in England maan

Soo many Pakis atleast some of them play decent soccer HEY

Its a key for ur Federation to bring them all in to the National team...Even playing in English division 3 or 4 is better then nuffin

Look at Trinidad Tobago..most of their national team plays in English 2nd 3rd or even 4th divisions

I know I know. We at FootballPakistan.com have plenty of players from England and Norway eager to play for Pakistan sooner or later. The problem is that our lame and sifarish plagued PFF is not that interested in getting these lads playing more frequently. Another problem is these players, who never realised that Pakistan had a football team when we first contacted them, now need Pak passports to be eligible to represent us, as per FIFA rules. So that leaves the Norwegian 2nd Div players out as Norway doesnt allow dual citizenships while others need too obtain it first

Zeshan Rehman - Queens Park Rangers (Championship)
Adnan Ahmed - Huddersfield Town (League One)
Shabir Khan - Worcester City (Conference North or South)
Amjad Iqbal - Farsely Celtic (Conference North)
Shakeel Ahmed - Gateshead FC (non-Conference)
Usman Gondal - ex-Leicester City youth player, now a free agent

Amir Sharif, Faisal Sharif, and Yasser Bashir are the Norwegian lads.

If only the PFF was eager to get these players in the first place.

Yeap....actually Zeshan Rehman and Usman Gondal have ALREADY played for Pakistan in the past one year...just that the basturds in the PFF have scared them away or pissed them off. If only money can buy the entire fukked up PFF, then things can be done right.

Oh and thanx for the congrats brother.
