TEHRAN, July 15 (ISNA)-In the first day of the 12th Asian Junior Athletics Championships which took place in Macau, Mohsen Moghadam won Iran's first Hammer Throw international medal.
According to ISNA, Mohsen and Reza Moghadam were placed third and forth in hammer throw.
In the long jump, Mohammad Arzandeh with a 7.37 meter jump easily entered the finals.
The primary round for 400 meters was not held due to the low number of attendants and the participant athletes will participate in the semifinal round today afternoon. Reza Abuzar with 46.58 second record seems to be one of the main hopes for this games gold medal.
