      it's gotta be big Ron - to come back and win the wc after that injury when everyone thought his career was over and then go on to be the top world cup scorer of all time is, well, phenomenal.

      I still don't understand why van basten was not on the list though. he would have won it hands down.

        Also i would like to say that Cafu summed it up the best after the WC02 wen asked about Ronnie. he said. "Ronaldo is still the phenomenon." So tru.

          I still believe Ronaldo would've taken the poll, rightfully so. Van Basten is probably the best forward of Europe, and Baggio Puskas fighting for second.
