            1) Zidane (no doubt, the greatest player to step on a football pitch)
            2) Marradona (what he did at napoli could never be done by anyone else)
            3) Pele
            4) Van Basten (my fave player ever and best striker ever)
            5) Maldini (rarely put a foot wrong)
            6) Cruyff
            7) Beckenbaur
            8) Ronaldo (at his peak, one of the gratest strikers ever)
            9) Kahn (Performance in 2002 World Cup says it all)
            10) Henry (maybe hasnt got much to show, but has there ever been a more deadly striker??)

              Ronnie Rosenthal.
I went to Sharif University. I'm a superior genetic mutation, an improvement on the existing mediocre stock.

No need for the next 9 spots, no one comes close. He's retired now.

I personally think there are a lot more deserving players than Ronaldinho...Di Stefano, Puskas, Yashin, Best, Van Basten, Matthaus, Cannavarro, Baresi and even Ronaldo.

Maybe in 5 years time we can put Ronaldinho in the list but until he proves he can do what a true great does and step it up when it's needed (unlike when he failed miserably in the WC when Brazil needed him) I don't think he deserves a place in the list.

                      yeah, lol...

his miss for Liverpool against Aston Villa from 5 yards out back in the early 90's is the stuff legends are made from. Having rounded the keeper and simply having to roll the ball into an empty net "Rocket Ronnie" managed the impressive feat of spooning his shot onto the cross bar. Try it yourself - this is not an easy skill. Maybe he thought he was a contestant on Israel's version of the crossbar challenge!

I'm glad to see you admire him to the extent that you have memorized the finest details of his play and that we both agree on the world class caliber of this underrated superstar.

lol! nah baba - it's famous in English football as one of the worst misses in Premiership history. "Rocket" Ronnie has a legendary status, but not in a good way - more in the same way that Luther Blissett did at AC Milan!

Judging from the star of David pic in your avatar I'm assuming you just liked the way spurs fans used to sing "Ronnie Rosenthal" to the tune of "hava nageela"!
