    Sweden 2 - 0 Spain

    Swedish Coach:
"Spain are a very good team, but they played pretty much as we expected," said Lagerback.

The onyl person i feel sorry for here is Puyol, look at the end of this clip how he runs abck to defend against something he knows will be a goal. Bad choachign to put evryone upfront like tht.

Aragones is not just a racist idiot but a crap coach too...I can't believe he hasn't gone or got the sack yet.

Aragones really pissed me off on the match day
I mean he had a wonderful record with spain with like almost 2 years and no defeats
but then he has been horrible these days
the game against sweden, in therms of chances, it was an even match but as usual spain are unfortunate. the 2nd goal came right after a hearder by puyol which I think passed the goal line.

Here are the stupid things Aragones DID against sweden and some of them he does it always.....

1- He NEVER brought xabi alonso in ( I thought he wasn t with the team but then I found out he was on bench)
2- He subbed fabregas out halftime (why? I don t know, fabregas did not play bad)
3- he started captevia and anguelo who rarely have any international experience. (if you wanna give young players a chance, you don t start them against sweden AWAY, specially when u already lost to f...ing N. Ireland also away)
3- He brought Luis Garcia in the last 10-15 minutes of the match and played him right winger, where he rarely plays.
          4- HE DOESN T USE REYES ( why? )
freakin Real Madrid with all those stars always give Reyes a chance and he has gave some amazing passes and has adjusted a lot faster than everyone thought he would. But then in the national team, he NEVER gets playing time.

Aragones brought Fabregas out and brought a youngster left back in and his crosses were horrible......
He really is horrible with this much talent that he has.
and let s not forget dropping Raul from the list for the 1st time ever in spanish history.......

186 I was just about to ask you where you were at after this loss but reading your post above it seems that the coaches decisions had a big part of the loss...Reyes, Alonso, and Luis Garcia should have started in my opinion.

ps if your name is 186 why dont you put Abedzadeh before Karimi in your sig? just curious.

I think this is part of Aragones' problem - he has such a wealth of talent, particularly in mf but he can't make up his mind as to his best side and keeps chopping and changing too much. In summary the exact opposite of Branko!

I still can't believe he didn't take Baraja to the wc and I don't understand the insistence on Iniesta, when Alonso and Fabregas are both head and shoulders above him.

                  yes Good point of Iniesta
I really hope he gets fired. I m hoping they get camacho (euro 2000 and wc 2002) back
he was great eventhough spain fell short during both tornoments

Yup, Baraja not being included killed me, the guys a machine for Valencia, has always played hard. Aragones should keep a definate 11, and only work players in on good form. Kind of like England. Spain will always be producing talent, so no need to give all their young guys a chance right now.

Not selecting Baraja is the least of his mistakes
we can say that we had Xabi Alonso, Xavi, and Albelda does a better job for DM. But his other mistakes and Ye dande bazi is the thing that kills Spain
I swear to God if we don t qualify for Euro 2008 I ll commit suicide.....

I don't believe there are any Spanish DM better than Baraja, Xabi is the closest, and since Aragones likes to attack, Baraja is the best at attacking aswell. He reminds me of Stevy Gerard, anyways, Aragones times just up. Not saying he's a bad coach, but sometimes change is whats needed to liven up the squad. If Del Bosque is available he'd be great.

I think Baraja is pure class, but the problem with taking him back now is that he'll be approaching 33 at the European Champs, (assuming Spain make it now).

It seems to me that no matter how much talent they actually possess, Spain are destined to never fulfill their potential.

On the other hand it seems that no matter how much talent England believe they possess they will never win anything again. lol

                            yea
I just hate it when spain have to suffer every single time untill they make it
I mean I m so pissed and worried and I gotta wait like many more months to find out......and basically we have to beat Denmark and Sweden to get a place in euro 08
the N. Ireland game killed it
