watched 5 mins got bored quit. its barca b team and all they do is pass. barcas style is boring. they pass so much that the opposition has time to get everyone back and its just barca passing and the opposition 10 defenders=boring.

good start from Ibarcadabra... he was a little lost on the field but that is completely normal, once he adapts to the Barca style he will be lethal. as you said he had a couple nice passes and chances on goal.

looking at the staring lineup, it seems pep tried may young players and only brought the real team from half time.
its better to lose these matches than losing in the league.

only Puyol and yaya are regular starters. i think its smart move by pep to rather lose a meaningless game and try and win the supercup which is more important.

lol Shayan jaan, no need to make excuses, even for Milad. We only had two starters in playing the first half, and three-four starters playing in the second. And with these teams we were still owning Man City and making them look like a 3rd division team. With the young guys in the first half we were able to keep possession and build up play/goalscoring opportunities, however none of the youngsters have that finishing touch yet. In the second half we did the same but with even more possession and opportunities, once Ibra finds form we would have had 2 in the back of the net. And had Xavi or Iniesta been in we would have had even more.

Great start for Barca, and a great chance to get a look at some of the youth Barca is producing. I was very impressed with Jonathan Dos Santos, Gio's younger brother, who has shown his ability at top level. Pedro has also shown how valuable he can be. Muniesa and a couple of other young defenders also proved to show promise. All in all, there is no reason why this team shouldn't be able to perform the same spectacles as last year.

There is no surprises there. I read a report of the game and see Man City put 11 behind the ball and scored from a counterattack from their only shot on target.
Barca's youth are so promising. They were probably nervous in front of 98K crowd and thats why they couldnt finish.

They must be favourites after all the big spendings to win the league and ucl but i have my doubts.
they can win the league it depends on how barca go about it but I doubt they can win ucl, they are just not a team to do it.
