messi as usual sublime. Ibra has been GREAT, not even etoo or ronaldinho had as good a start as Ibra has had.
his back flip to pique was GOLD, special moments really.
and messi's 2nd goal was just unstoppable.

lol as usual messi scored 2 goals and creates 1 which is once again flukily finished by ibra to automatically put the game away. but i admit ibra gives good passes... he just sucks at finishing which is why he is not a good choice as center forward in a 4-3-3, specially when messi and xavi already provide the creativity. barca would have been better off if they bought a pure finisher like diego milito.

it doesnt matter how many goals you score... its your conversion rate... further to that its if you score depending on how good a chance is.

Messi and Ibra are too ****ing beautiful to watch, this is the kind of pairing you dream of watching in football. They both have skill on the field that no other players will try and better yet they combine it.

As much as I follow Madrid, it confuses me why such a rich club goes after deuchebags who play individually. Obviously it's because of profit making, but that's the failure of the club. It doesn't take half a billion dollars to make a team like Barca, it just takes a smart group of managers with the same kind of funds a top team would have. Props to Barca for finding the kind of players I as a football fan would want to watch together.

I think you don't udnerstand how Barca play. The reason why they traded Eto'o (better converter of goals) for Ibra was because of their style of play. Barca don't play like a Man Utd team would with Rooney upfront waiting for a break away. They build and control the game until they can squeeze the ball through for a goal. Their team is built that every player in the squad has a chance to score on attacks. Henry and Ibra are big players with probably the best skill in football for their heights. These 2 create a physical presence and skill where the rest of the team can build around.

No newcomer to Barca has had a better start than Ibra has had already. 4 goals in 4 games and many more assists.

The problem with Madrid is they try to buy success quick, without much thinking they buy the best players on the market and expect to have the best team.

Messi has started the season better than Ronaldo.
He has played less minutes against tougher teams compared to madrid's opponents and he has scored 5 and assisted 2 while CR9 has no assists.
Messi scores every 38 minute and Ronaldo every 59 minute

^You can't really compare Messi to anyone right now, he's in his own league. But Ronaldo has done well to score goals and with Raul mentoring him he might not be such a deuchebag to the other players in the squad.

lol im not watching the game. according to goal.com henry was possibly injured in 28th minute and ibra replaced him, then ibra missed a chance but then scored. i have to see how he missed. but i will watch the game from now.
