    Samuel Eto'o underexposed?!!

There are footballers in todays world that are over exposed more credit than their due (David Beckham).

Then there's Samuel Eto'o this guy gets injured and Barcelona the best team in the world at the moment is short of goal scoring options and fails to do so in their recent past games losing to Real and Chelsea . I think his absence will be even more felt in the future and then people will be giving him the credit he truely deserves.

    what are your thoughts?

I think Eto'o is an excellent player but I also think Barca don't have adequate quality cover in the striking department.

Sure they have Saviola and Gudjonsson but neither are natural goalscorers, both are deep lying linking strikers (as you could say with the other players they could play further forward...Messi, Ronaldinho, Giuly etc.)

It's amazing that the reigning European Champions don't have an out-and-out goalscorer to cover for his absence.

Eto'o is the best attacker in the world, no doubt about it. And as you see, we(i am a BIG BARCA FAN) are suffering without Eto'o. And Ronaldinho can't play without Eto'o

First of all, the rated best attacker in the world is Henry he consistently scores the most goals.

Now i disagree with this thread because i think Etoo is a BRILLIANT striker and he does get the credit for it being brilliant. He is rated one of the best in the world. What more do u want?

Eto'o by far the best striker and most dangerous in the world, even right now more than Henry. No offense to the great man, he used to be first but he's second to Eto'o right now.

Saturday Ronaldinho was trying to find a player to give the ball to who could finish, Saviola, Gudjohnsen and Messi all failed. But even with Eto'o Barca wouldn't have beaten Real on saturday, you have to admit it Barca fans.

Some of you are completely wrong here. If we had Eto'o, we wouldn't lose. Did you see the big chances Guddy missed????? Eto'o would never miss those oppurtunities.

Guddy should do something else instead of scoring...
shove his head of his own ass..that would be a bigger accomplishment than scoring against REAL!

Gudjohnsen has already scored for Barca before and helped out in smaller games, but i agree he doesn't fit a striker role in Barca.

He's more of a playmaking, score at teh last moment type of player when he was at Chelsea too. He has alot of skill and speed but not a striking mind like Eto'o.
