my feeling is that Anelka-Drogba is not an effective duo, since they are both target-men forwards.. and Drogba will always be first choice ahead of Nikolas

Grant did a stupid move having Makalele instead of Obi Mikel....

Malouda fcked up a big chance, smart move bringing in Kalou, had a good impact on the game and assisted the own goal haha. heres what i want for 2nd leg:

What Chelsea need more than anything is someone to support Drogba, it was clear that last night that is what they were lacking, Drogba done well but Malouda and Cole can't support him that well, you need a good striker next to him.

i think sheva should play up front with drogba. he could be like a magnet and attract defenders. maybe thats also why drogba did better last season...

Relax guys, Chelsea always play that formation and it usually works. It didn't work this time because most of our usually good players were playing very subpar (Lampard, Joe Cole) and of course Liverpool playing really cagey.
Formation for second leg, I don't mind sticking with 4-5-1 because that's what they're used to and it's getting results.

noooo way, hes got a BRIGHT future! hes better than Makalele man, hes taller, stronger and provides more accurate passes/crosses. he helps set up plays/goals, remember when chelsea beat united in the FA Cup final last year?
