Cole is a very dangerous player when he comes on as a sub. many times last year he got subbed in and he was more effective, look at when he starts, he sometimes scores but doesnt play as well as he can. thats because the defenders are tired.

-in his first game for Chelsea he scored and assisted in a 2-1 win
-he scored against united in the community shield
-he scored in the opening league game in a 3-2 win
-he scored in his first CL game..(for chelsea)
- and he scored in a game against Newcastle near the end of the season to give us a comfortable 2-0 win..
he will improve and keep improving, it was only his first year in Premier League football. See how much Ballack improved?

Pizarro may be going to PSG
Chelsea striker Claudio Pizarro could be set for a move to French side Paris St Germain.
Reports suggest that out-of-favor Pizarro is now a target for PSG coach Paul Le Guen after he gave up on his pursuit of Claude Makelele.
The Peruvian striker arrived at Stamford Bridge on a free transfer from Bayern Munich 12 months ago. He has scored only two goals in his stay at the London club, both against Birmingham.
New Blues manager Luiz Felipe Scolari is unlikely to require the services of Pizarro, and is reportedly planning to bring a number of new faces to Chelsea, including Real Madrid's Robinho and Inter Milan's Adriano.
The Blues would most likely be keen on selling Pizarro but the 29-year-old's wages could pose an issue.

Blues Offer Drogba Bumper Deal
It looks like Drogba may be staying after all...
Chelsea are preparing to pull out all the stops to tempt wantaway striker Didier Drogba to extend his stay in west London…
The Sun claims the Blues will offer Drogba a four-year deal worth ₤130,000-per-week – nearly twice what he currently earns – inan attempt to convince him to snub a continental move.
The 30-year-old seemed a certainty to leave Stamford Bridge this summer after expressing his dissatisfaction at Jose Mourinho’s enforced departure in September, and he has not been wanting for suitors.
Both AC Milan and Internazionale have expressed strong interest in the ex-Olympique Marseille man who, recent reports suggest, could also be contemplating a surprise return to Stade Velodrome.
While Inter were initial favourites to sign Drogba following Mourinho’s appointment as manager, the Rossoneri are now thought to be battling Barcelona for the towering target-man’s services.
But new Blues boss Luiz Felipe Scolari fully intends to retain the former Le Mans player’s services, no matter the price, as the former African Footballer of the Year would prove a crucial foil for the flair football the ex-Brazil coach plans to introduce.

Bridge resigns with Chelsea
LONDON (AP) - Chelsea defender Wayne Bridge signed another contract with the club on Tuesday, committing himself to the Premier League side for four more years.
The 27-year-old left back had been linked with a move to Portsmouth, but has been praised by new Chelsea manager Luiz Felipe Scolari.
"I am very pleased for Wayne that he has committed his future to Chelsea," Scolari said. "I have been here only a few days, but I have seen that he is one of the best professionals at the club.
"I very much like his playing style."
Bridge has made 130 appearances for the Blues since joining from Southampton in 2003, but has largely been a backup to fellow England international Ashley Cole for the past two years.
