Steve Nash was amazing as usual...
But I think it's time for either Kobe for his record scoring or Nowitzki. The Worker-communist Party of Iran (WPI)

DEERFIELD, Ill. - Chicago Bulls forward Luol Deng won the NBA's sportsmanship award Thursday, edging Shane Battier and four other divisional winners in a vote by players.

Deng received 52 first-place votes and 2,027 points — 22 more than Battier of Houston. Utah's Derek Fisher (1,953) was third, followed by the Los Angeles Clippers' Elton Brand (1,935), Atlanta's Joe Johnson (1,737) and Toronto's Anthony Parker (1,611).
The award honors the player who best exemplifies ethical behavior, fair play and integrity on the court, and the winner receives the Joe Dumars Trophy — named after the Detroit Pistons Hall of Fame guard, their president of basketball operations and the inaugural recipient.
"I haven't told my parents yet about it, but I think for them it means a lot more than any other award," Deng said. "I can win awards on the basketball court and it would mean a lot to me. But this award is on and off the court. It's something for me to give back to my parents. They will appreciate I'm being recognized for who I am."
Born in The Sudan, Deng was 5 when his family fled to Egypt after the government was overthrown. They eventually settled in England, where his parents still live. He spent his high school years at a prep school in New Jersey and went to Duke for a year before entering the NBA.
Deng is involved in numerous charities, and the league will donate $25,000 on his behalf to Pacific Garden Mission, the oldest continuously operating rescue mission in the country. It will also donate $10,000 to each of the divisional winners' chosen charities — Toronto Raptors Foundation on Parker's behalf; the Boys and Girls Club of Little Rock, Ark., on Johnson's behalf; the Boys and Girls Club of Houston on Battier's behalf; and Fisher Fellows of the University of Arkansas-Little Rock and C.A.M.P. Inc. of Peekskill, N.Y., on behalf of Brand.
In his third year, Deng enjoyed his best season, averaging 18.8 points and 7.1 rebounds, and has been even better in helping the Bulls sweep defending champion Miami in the first round. Deng averaged 26.3 points and 9.0 against the Heat. The Bulls face Detroit in the second round beginning with Game 1 on Saturday.
"He really does epitomize everything I had hoped for as a person and a basketball player," general manager John Paxson said. "I think it's one of the reasons we've gotten to the level we're at this year. I'm truly proud of him. I think the world of him as a person and as a player."

What's up guys Laker fans here who is fed up with Mitch Cupcake. Here's my thoughts on my team the LA Lakers
Do whatever you need to do and get KG or Chuncy Billups. I don't care if you got to trade Bynum. It has been documented that Kobe and Phil Jackson aren't that big on Bynum anywyas. If they say something in the kid they woudn't be willing to part with him.
Because of Cupcake, we got rid of our all star Chucky Atkins and Caron butler for Kwamie.
We basically pased on Barbosa for Brian Cook in the NFL draft.
We could of used our lotto pick to draft a player that could help us NOW instead of 3 to four years down the road.
We have Smush Parker, Shamont Willimas and Shash handling the rock as our PG.
Basically the only two good moves Cupcake made were
1-Drafting Ronie Turiaf. I really like this kid and think he brings a lot of energy and passion. He is kind of like your Robert Horry or AC Green type of a player. He's the guy who does the dirty work by diving on the floor for rebounds, playing solid D, etc. He's basically A WORKHORSE and we need more players like Ronie Turiaf.
2-Picking up Mo Evans from Detroit-This was a solid pick up in the off season and Mo Evans, given the circumstances, adjusted well learning the triangle, and he contributed good this year.
What do we need to do next?
1-Do whatever you can to sign KG, CHUNCH BILLUPS, JERMAINE O'NEAL, or JASON KIDD.
We can't be afraid to go above the luxury tax here people. Who cares if we go above the luxury tax as long as it brings in rings. Just look at the Yankees every year they go above the luxury tax, but they are either winning the world series or they are competitive and at least make a good solid run.
2-DON'T SIGN LUKE WALTON HE IS NOT WORTH $30,000,O00 FOR THE LOVE OF GOD.
Luke Walton is basically our token white boy and I'll admit he plays HARD and with passion, but he is not the answer to our problems. Luke is not worth 30M.
3-Perhaps package your first and 2nd draft pick for a HIGHER FIRST, and draft the best available POINT GUARD. Jordan Farmar is going to be a role player at best. Smuch Parker, Shamont Williiams, and Sasha Vojycheck(sp?) are not the answer.

damn im surprised raptors lost by unluckiness. but why wasnt ford playing at the end? we all know calderon is amazing but makes some very silly mistakes sometimes.
why do we always have to lose by 1 in the playoffs?
88-87
98-97
oh well im not sad though cuz 90% i was expecting a jersey win. and i know if you are emotional 90% of the time you will suffer and 10% is good times (unless youre really lucky which im not). what a season overall though, cant wait for next season with bargnani it will just get better. btw i hate carter even more now after his stupid celebration lol. felt like punching him in the nose but oh well.
