Good luck to our Iranian brother, too bad he wasn't good enough for Arsenal. DC United is one of the better teams in MLS so thats great for him if he starts.

what do u mean sell outs? Eskandrian is only culturally iranian, he is armenian. and who cares if kabassiyoon doesnt want to play for TM? I dont blame him if he doesnt want to represent the most curropt and inefficent Football federation possibly in the world. do you?

so instead he wants to represent one of the most corrupt countries in the world? when you play on a national team, you typically don't play to represent your football organizition but your country!!!

I think you're partially correct, you represent the people of the coutry.

You can't think like that, if you do then the arguement could be made that he chose the lesser of the 2 curropt nations. Hes Iranian, whether he chose to play for Israel, USA, etc doesn't change that. BTW he's half Italian aswell. He'll have to dissappoint someone, doesn't mean he's a sellout or traitor.
