    David Beckham

Hey who agrees with me that McClaren was right in dropping Beckham. I mean he has two amazing wingers with speed and skill like Wright-Phillips and Lennon, Lennon was great against Trinidad at the World Cup. Anyway

i think Beckham was really good for england he is the best crosser in the world but he is slow i like lennon alot but McClaren plays gerard on the right and downing on the left , i think downing is rubish... i hope they get rid of McClaren soon

Downing is overrated Joe Cole is the option on the left, but he was injured for a while. England should play with just Rooney up front and Gerrard supporting him. Then, King/Hargreaves and Lampard in midfield with Cole and Lennon/Wright Phillips on the wings.

obviously beckham is overrated, but he has been England's best players for many years.
without him alot of goals in the World Cup wouldn't exist and England wouldn't have gone far.

What England need to do is make a better team. They did good to drop Beckham, at least now they can stop depending on his free kicks to end big games.

Beckham may not have been the greatest player but he has the best right foot i have ever seen, i mean how many ppl have u ever seen that can pin point a cross or long ball the way he does?

Ronaldo once said that if Beckham leaves he will also leave because he is used to getting service from beckham and just doesn't think anyone can give the same kind of service Beckham was giving.

Babaks right, I know people hate Becks for what he does or who for that matter. But his crossing and freekicks are second to none, those crosses from half into the box leave me speechless sometimes.

I looked on youtube hoping to find this goal I had in mind.
