Ever since that free kick by Giggs, all the sports channels are asking the ref for an interview on what went on.

After watching the replay you can clearly see the that the Ref sees the keeper off to the side, and moves quickly away for Giggs to take the free kick.

I wonder if Ferguson payed him off, or the ref just loved United as a kid because that was shocking.

If the Ref did make a "mistake" he could have easily disallowed the goal and ordered the free kick again. We need more Italian refs in the CL who know how to discipline players.
