You know what? Fuk it...we needed such an embarrassment to get our lazy and complacent heads sorted. We were poor against Inter but managed to overcome them...we were horrible today and we deserved such a thrashing.

This horrible day was needed to get the players right back down to earth. No one will win the Quadruple or any trophy left by being complacent bastards...and no one deserves to win without even trying.

Liverpool tried, and won deservedly because of our mistakes....but by god we will not falter away this chance and we will reclaim the league before the season ends by getting our focus and hunger back.

you cant make luck your own. then it wouldnt be luck. luck is an extrinsic factor.

all football clubs organize their attack in a way that it creates opprotunities and chances on goal... and the more of this a club has the higher the chance that goals are scored. So wouldn't that be creating your own luck in a way?

no because that is not luck. creating more chances is skill/teamwork/tactics....

because if you win after having more chances thats not being lucky.

But what I'm saying is, isn't it true that a team who has all these things has a higher chance of being lucky? You said a team "can't make luck" it's own... obviously a bad team can be lucky a lot of the time and can't create that luck, but a better team should be more lucky because they are creating "chances" which need some level of luck for the ball to go in the net.

i know exactly what you mean but its hard to explain. when we talk about a team getting lucky its usually because they DIDNT create more chances than the opponent.

if a team has 15 shots and another has 3, if the 15 shot one scores luckily yes its because they had 15 shots... but thats not really being lucky overall even if that goal was scored in a lucky way.

so if you attack a lot and score in a lucky way it isnt really being luck because offensive football should be rewarded, and you are increasing your own chances of scoring so its not luck.
