there are a few players in bundesliga who can also be of use to bayern..
1)stajner from hannover is a good supporting forward. he and makkay can form a good forward considering makkay will be the target man who stays in the penalty area while stajner is the one who runs around mostly in the midfield, and brings the ball to the front with his good vision, speed and creativity.
2)van der vart, although not a very good option but can also be used interchangbly with van bommel in the midfield and both can play next to hargreaves. atleast van der vart has some creativity and good freekick.
3)basturk is also not bad, his contract expires this year with hertha and he is a quick paced and creative midfielder who is already used to bundesliga. he can do wat karimi was expected to do but didnt for bayern...
the chances of bayern getting a good player from werder bremen is low because werder bremen is in a good situation both nationally and internationally and the players dont have any reason to leave bremen for bayern...
-klose has officially stated he will never join bayern
-frings returned to bremen after he found himself playing out of position in bayern..
-diego was just swooped by bremen and has been one of their best players with only 21 years of age..bremen can either use him for a long time or sell him to a top la liga or serie A club and make a fortume out of him..
the rest of the players arent of any use to bayern because bayern wont be needing them..
maybe tim borowski as a sub for deisler or schweinsteiger...

1) Van der Vaart would be a great buy for bayern should he go. At the age of 23 he can serve them years to come and his style of play would suit bayern very well.
2) Im a fan of basturk and I think his a great player but at the the age of 28 I dont think he can be an aspect bayern can look forward to too long in the future; 4-5 years max. And I dont think he can solve bayern's problems either.
3) Diego is the next big think in europe, I am very optimistic he will be going to a good la liga or serie a team in the not too distant future. His style of play is ideal for those 2 league's, fantastic player.
It makes me ponder why he hasn't been picked up by those league's earlier after playing at porto.

diego, robinho and kaka all played together in santos before moving out of brazil.
diego was considered the best among these 3 prodigy while kaka was just considered a popstar cos of his looks..
interestingly, just the opposite happened and while kaka turned out the most successful, diego turned out to be the least successful.
however, diego is only 21 now and has made a fresh start and has been very successful with bremen..

Diego-Robinho were the duo at Santos, and were all the rage in 2002-2003 U-23 squad. Kaka got signed with little publicity as he was seen to be inferior to the teenagers Diego and Robinho.
Diego would be a perfect for Bayern, but I think Diego would be too hard to sign now that he is found a new home with their biggest rivals. I think Bayern should be patient, with Diesler back I'm sure they'll turn things around.STADIO OLIMPICO, 8 FEBRUARY 2004
A.S. ROMA 4-0 F.C. JUVENTUS
