what i noticed from this match was that ronaldo still has the best positioning in the world... i watched him and he knows exactly where to be and when. he may walk a lot but as soon as there is a goal scoring opportunity he goes there.

He may get the odd goal here and there because of that, but the fact is that his pace will be his downfall. It doesn't matter how many good position you get if you cannot get to the ball half the time. He needs to shed his weight and then he can be a glimpse of what he once was.

who cares if hes a glimpse of what he once was or not... hes already AC milans 3rd leading scorer and he only played like 7 games. he was the best player in the world at his best doesnt mean he has to be that good again... hes already accomplished everything. hes scored almost 1 goal per game at all his clubs... the 2nd best scorer in the world doesnt come close to that record.

Sure he was once a great player if not the best, but the fact is what happens now is also important to his career. He lacks the pace a world class striker needs to get in those positions he once did. like i said, his current form is good enough for his club. by the end of the season he will be the 2nd leading scorer of AC milan and the number 1 scorer based on goals/games. but of course it would be good if he loses weight and i think he should.

This page tells me that Inzaghi has scored 8 goals for Milan this season. Not enough but considering his injuries, it's a just okay stat. Ronaldo has played 9 games and scored 4, this is just another okay stat.

according to the link you gave, ronaldo scores every 159 mins... which is currently the BEST on the team. and i was talking about serie a because i mentioned it in my previous post, however i didnt before, which might have been the reason for your confusion.
