Well! Those arab players are very well known for killing time and faking injuries...Ask anyone in the world. But have you ever seen Gattuso faking injury?!? Or Kaka?! No! Plus, during the whole match, Milan players got treatment only for 3 or 4 times, do you consider that killing time?!

Sorry that they are not robot to be able to sustain the wild kicks of Scholes and co.

bottom line is that these are lame excuses. ManU lost the game Badly and lost the morality even worse! Shame...

with all due respect viva jan, u don't think this is the same man u side that won the premiership do u? i mean, yeah...they got beaten badly...but what more can u expect when their top 3 defenders are injured? i was surprised man u sneaked the win at home even, with that defence line!

With all due respect faraz jan, Milan is a Grand-pa team! If England #1 team can not defeat an average 33 age and 4th in the league team, then sorry, they worth nothing to me! except for Ferdinand, the rest are the same who have been playing together for a while now. So no excuses! if they missed ferdinand, we missed the Legend Maldini.

You tell me, where in the world Kaladze or Jankoluvski stand?! Are they any better than ManU's second defenders? What about Oddo vs. Ronaldo?! Whom would you pick? (of course you would pick Oddo, cuz you are an Italy fan! )

I'm sorry, but this Manu team was really an over-rated team, comparing to this grand-pa no-name Milan! Ronaldo and his step-overs worth 1/10 of kaka's non-flashy moves.

Milan is a team and played as a team, that's why they won. ManU should think of some real players rather than puss-boys! real players like Roy Kean, Giggs and Schmicheal.

and as a note, this same team won yesterday and clinched the title! So either england's league is very week, or Milan is very strong. I think the second one is more like it.

I don't think Maldini even plays half an important role as Rio does in Man U - not to mention Gary Neville, and the obviously unfit Vidic (even the commentators spoke about it)

Oddo - i absolutely love. I think he's a tremendously good player on that right hand side, and attacks with speed and accuracy. Kaladze and Jankoluvski, not so much - but they are definitely not as bad as wes brown lol

I completely agree with the Kaka vs Ronaldo comment. I think he proved outright who the world player of the year is this year...I was betting on Ronaldo, but he is no where even close to Kaka's brilliance on the pitch. As for the "grand-pa no-name Milan" comment - I would rather have that than an inexperienced and young side (if we're talking about the Champion's League here). The whole feel of the Champion's League is very different, and requires experience.

Roy Keane was definitely missing - Shmeichel, well Van Der Sar didn't fair badly at all, and Giggs is just heroic. As for playing as a team - I would say if you were to take Kaka out of Milan, Milan would be, at best, a 5th place team. The team is Kaka, and he is the team. Seedorf I guess deserves an honorable mention, but really, a Milan without Kaka is not Milan.

Well - the past couple of weeks have been HELL for Man U, losing and drawing against bottom placed teams, they did scrape a 1-0 win, winning the league (alot of it thanks to chelsea, who could not beat bolton!), as well as their GREAT run due to players like Rio and Vidic and Neville (all of whom were missing!)

Now - let me not take any credit against Milan. In my opinion, they would have perhaps even pulled it out had Man U had their star defenders...but it wouldn't be so easy. Even not on the field but off, just knowing that RIO is up there gives players like Scholes a much easier time in the midfield, especially moving forward - as if their mind is at ease, knowing that someone dependable is always there. Injuries do not always hamper a team on the field - the majority of the time, it is more of a psychological problem.

If it was my way, I would have enjoyed Roma beating Man U, but not so much Milan.

Either way, you and I both know who I am whole-heartedly supporting in the final. I just wish Man U was there instead.

            .
Trust me, When Maldini plays Milan play much much organizer than this! He is a true leader and a psychological weight factor for the team. Although Kaladze and Janko played a good game, but a 50% Maldini is better than both of them.
            .

You can say this about any team in the world: Barca and Ronaldinho, Manchester and Ronaldo, Real and Zidane (look how misrable they are now!), Inter and Figo, Liverpool and Gerard, Roma and Totti.
But in reality, it's a team who plays. Just as an example, Kaka was amazing in the game against ManU but whom was picked as the fans man of the match was no one but Rino Gattuso! He was terribly missed in the second half of the first match and his absense was the reason Milan lost a 2-1 advantage. So, yes and No, Milan without Kaka may not score as many, but is still Milan.
            .

If the past couple of weeks have been hell for ManU, the whole year has been a bloody hell for Milan! Calciopoli and point reduction, 12 injuries at a time, a losing streak of 5 a month before the ManU game! an absolute hell! but all of a sudden everything changed after the Bayern game!
They beat a broken Roma (no Perotta, no Tadei, an injured Totti playing with force of injection) and they called themselves the best ever! they beat Roma with the same players who were crashed against Milan. So no excuses. No moaning!
            .

            .
I give you that! But still, one or two injuries shouldn't crash a team! Ferdinand is not a KAKA factor for ManU! If Ronaldo was injured I would have given ManU credit, but Ferdinand, it's just another excuse.

            .

I enjoyed it very much. especially the way Milan dominated the whole game, shutting down Ronaldo, Rooney, Scholes and Giggs. I loved Gatusso and now I love him even more! He is the meaning of football to me, he is a body filled with passion. I have never seen anyone more passionate than him!

And I whole heartedly believe that Milan will win the final. it'll be though, but we will do it.

HATS OFF TO YOU, SIR ALEX

Sir Alex Ferguson paints the perfect picture of sportsmanship with the tribute he made to Milan.

MILAN – There is a great coach in the heart of Europe and that coach is named Sir Alex Ferguson. He had this to say on Gazzetta dello Sport after Manchester United clinched the Premier League against fellow Champions League semi-finalist Chelsea:
‘Congratulations to Milan and to Carlo Ancelotti. The more I think about it, the more the game that they played at the San Siro was stupendous, extraordinary and fantastic. The final? I would bet on Milan, absolutely. I said this to Carlo too; he knows that he can’t not win this Champions League. Carlo gave me a magnificent bottle of wine at the end of the game at the San Siro. I told him: It doesn’t make sense for you to give me this if you don’t win in Athens because I will drink this only if you raise the Champions League cup.’
Ferguson continued: ‘Milan are going to Athens thanks to one of the best games in their history. It is why I am still trying to understand what made us fall. Milan were fresher, better prepared physically and technically.’

Whats with the Manc U fans??? you all lost, live with it.
I see it this way (like the police do in Europe) when theres a fight after the game it always starts by the losing side.
Osasuna - Rangers fight (it was rangers who started).
                                Seville - Spures (Spures).
                                Roma - Mancs (Mancs).
Even when newcastle lost to AZ last month 6 twat fans got into a fight and got banned from football (for life).
So i see it this way, Milan won, Everyone else stop playahating.
