You are obviously here to provoke. What else would a Real/Liverpool fan do in Milan's thread then?
Mods please take care of this.

Also, allow me to remind you that Milan won against Manchester and Bayern (scored 9 goals in 4 games) while Ronaldo was watching the games at home!
So again, please do not hijack the thread. Use your own threads to express your opinion. we have enough fights, don't need more.VIVA ITALIA VIVA MILAN VIVA MALDINI

Originally posted by miladim sorry if you feel that way. but the policy of this site says you can post your opinions without insulting someone, which is what i did. and im talking about the italian league. champions league is a whole different thing.
"again ac milan fail to win without ronaldo... its looking bad for them."
there is no phrase saying "in the league", "not in the CL" and ...
And your second sentense shows that you were looking for an arguement, while you know that Milan's objective is NOT the 3rd position vs. 4th position in the league! Milan's objective is winning the CL. It has always been. Every little 7 year old boy knows that by now.
Plus, I would have had no problem with the above sentense of yours if it was from a Milan fan such as Amir Ahmadi, or NY or Aryaan.
But this coming from a Liverpool/Real fan, makes me believe that not only you were not sincere, but also, you are looking to make a fire in this thread.
Anyways...I just felt obligated to point that out. It wasn't anything important at all and I should even have reacted to your comments. Who cares! We will win the CL without RONALDO. right?VIVA ITALIA VIVA MILAN VIVA MALDINI

So, League or Champions League? do you see the difference now?
In the league you get to play against second/third/forth rated teams, which to me are a waste of time! But in the Champions League you have to play against the best teams of each country in Europe.
You become the league's champion, means that you are a country's champion. But when you become the champion in CL, you are Europe's champion! Then you can play against the America's champion and become the World's champions. that's the difference.
Every club in Europe aims to become the league's champion in order to participate in CL and win that cup. That's their ultimate goal.
So, all and all, to me, I have always been more facinated about the champions league. and to me winning the champions league is more important than the local league.VIVA ITALIA VIVA MILAN VIVA MALDINI

Originally posted by Paligood point but dont you think that the league is over more games and it shows the team with most consistancy? the CL is a cup and we all know that cups have a certain i dont know what to call it factor. For example do you think that Liverpool are really better than Man utd and Chelsea? because thats what the champs league suggests. i dont think teams aim to win the local league inorder to get into the CL because you can come in 4th and still get in the CL.
I'm sure if Liverpool and ManU play 5 times in the league games, ManU's share of winning will be more. 3-2 or maybe 4-1! But in CL, there are many other factors involved. Some teams are cup teams. For example, Roma. Roma has been reaching the Copa Italia for 3 consecutive years! Some teams are the CL teams type, just like Milan and Liverpool. Some teams are League types, for example: Juve, ManU, Bayern. and some others are none of them and they sometimes get lucky and win a trophy, like Inter!
Winning the local league is good, but the most prestigues prize in Europe is CL. it's like comparing a continent cup and the world cup. Winning the EUFA is nice, but comparing to the WC, it's less valueble.
What makes the teams like Real, Milan, Bayern, Ajax, Liverpool, ManU and Juve the greatest teams in Europe is not the number of times they won their league, it's the respect they gained for winning the CL. if that wasn't the case, then they would have mentioned Celtic, Rangers, Porto, Lyon, Anderlecht along with those teams as well since they all won their local leagues several times.
Also consider that more than half of the teams in any league are garbage! But in CL, none of them are weak, since they are all selected.VIVA ITALIA VIVA MILAN VIVA MALDINI
