Ancelotti: Will Be Difficult To Sign Henry

Carlo Ancelotti believes it will be difficult to snap Henry from Arsenal despite the player's apparent willingness.

zoom - galleria Henry has been linked with a move to Barcelona once again over the last few of months - ever since Arsenal crashed out of the Champions League, in fact.

Milan have come into the fray recently, and Henry added more substance to the rumours by admitting he was excited by their interest.

There has been little clubs have been able to do to keep players against their will over the last few years, but Carlo Ancelotti seems to be wary of Arsenal's desire to hang on to the Frenchman.

"Henry has a contract with another club and it is difficult to buy players who have a contract," the Milan coach told Sky Sports News.

"He is a very good forward, but not the only forward, there are other good strikers."

Milan have admitted that Samuel Eto'o is their number one priority for next season, but it will probably be even more difficult to sign the Cameroon international.

Developments on that front are not expected for at least another ten days, though, with Barcelona focusing on the La Liga title. Once that is out of the way, speculation on both Henry and Eto'o shuold go into overdrive. Stay tuned!

I hope Eto'o doesn't get injured as much as he does in Barca.

                    Emerson Set For Milan Medical?

Reports suggest that Real Madrid midfielder Emerson is set to travel to Milan for a medical, immediately after the end of the La Liga season.

zoom - galleria According to the Spanish press, the negotiations between Milan and Real Madrid for the transfer of Emerson are about to be completed.

The Brazilian has had a tough season in Spain. Not bad, but tough, being singled out by the Bernabeu for the team's unimaginative play when things were not going right.

Things have changed since, but Emerson believes that he will not be appreciated at Madrid, with another average team display possibly resulting in a similar reaction.

He has made his desire to return to Italy clear, leaving the Merengue bosses with little choice but to negotiate a fee with their Rossoneri counterparts.

Allegedly, even the medical visit for the player has been fixed, for Monday the 18th

If Samuel Eto’o has closed the door on a move to Milan, then Ronaldinho’s loyalty to Barcelona is wavering after he abandoned training.
The Brazilian is still in tense contract renegotiations with his club and, as the Liga title looks set to slip through their fingers in favour of Real Madrid, it could spell the end for this rapport.

Spanish newspapers claim that Ronaldinho refused to attend the 2-2 draw with Espanyol last week, which he could not play as he was suspended, and that he walked out of training.

The rift between the former FIFA World Player of the Year and his teammates is also growing, as it’s suggested he feels frozen out compared to Eto’o, Deco and Carles Puyol.

With Eto’o this week closing the door on a move to Milan, the Rossoneri can turn their attention back towards tempting away Ronaldinho.

Meanwhile, there is a curious transfer story surrounding the San Siro giants and a very familiar face.

There are reports in the Italian media that Ibrahim Ba is set for a return to Milan next season on a one-year contract after undergoing ankle surgery.

“I am very happy,” said Ba, also known as Ibou. “I always got on well at Milan, remain close to everyone there and have worked hard in these months hoping to have another chance.”

The 34-year-old even travelled to Athens as a fan to see his former teammates lift the Champions League trophy.

“I would be so pleased to come back, but it has to be good for everyone and not cause any problems for the Coach. I hope he will want me in the squad.”

****ing emerson...why would milan want to go after him? Where is he going to play? For ambrosini? If it aint broke dont fix it. I hate him

i dont get why milan has never been in the conversation with villa and quaresma, almost every single team has been after these two...milan could concievably use both, and they are going after another portugese and another la liga striker...why cant they shift their attention to villa and Quaresma? If that actually happened tho i would consider moving to milan to watch that

The vice-President of the Rossoneri declared that there is the possibility that no new striker is bought by Milan this summer, despite the fact that the club has been linked to various big names in recent weeks.

zoom - galleria Adriano Galliani wanted to make it clear for all Milan fans that there is the possibility that despite the various names circulating around in the media, the Rossoneri might end up with no purchased striker this summer.

"I don't want to delude our fans. It's possible that someone arrives, but also that no one arrives, whereas all our important players will remain," thus confirming that Alberto Gilardino will not be sold.

Galliani, however, confirmed that if a player does arrive, it will be one of those currently making the headlines in the newspapers.

"If there will be the need to strengthen the attack, the names are those which you already know.

"In the Milan side of next season, there will be Ronaldo, who will also be able to play in the Champions League, Pippo Inzaghi, Gilardino and Oliveira."

Still, Milan are expected to be in the driver's seat for the purchase of an important striker: probably either Eto`o' or Henry.
