Totti is talented, loyal and has a funny attitude.

how could you hate him, unless one of the soccer players that he's embarrassing is your boyfriend?

And guys don't even bring Zidane into this, Materazzi is an a-hole, everyone agrees with that even the entire Italian squad who most of them play against him in Serie A complain.

Totti and Zidane can lose control and do stupid things, but Materazzi is a hardcore defender that has ended player's careers with his style.

The goal is 5 out of 10 if I need to rate it...While Ronaldinho goal on Saturday was like 7 or 7.5 our of 10.....
Totti is an average player in my book even if he dribbles all 11 players of the opposite team and score a goal then...ALso he has a horrible attitude....He plays decently in Roma just like many other average players all around the world...There is nothing to get excited about with Totti....
            Thats it....

If anyone remember his injury before the WC against Empoli, he tore his archilis or something similar. It happened a couple of weeks before Karimi's injury, and kept him out just as long as Karimi's. So, he wasn't anywhere near his best in the world cup which was unlucky because he had to miss Euro2006 too because of the spitting incident. But, he has now regained his form within 7 months or so after his injury. Also, he has refused to play for the Azzurri until he feels he is at 100%, a decision which has raised a lot of negativity towards him. But I have a feeling we are gonna see him back in the azzurri soon if he keeps up his current form. Forza Totti

He has actually developed a strong enough physique since a few years ago. But yeah, he is not the fastest but he is one of the best in the world in sending the most accurate first-touch balls.

Totti is a genius on the pitch, but he is also one of the biggest jerks in professional football. He can't be compared to players like Ballack, Ronaldinho, Steven Gerrard or Henrik Larsson when it comes to sportmanship and dignity.
Do you guys remember when he spat in Christian Poulsen's face in EURO 2004? Or when he on purpose jumped on one of his opponents while he was lying down on the ground? I've got the picture, I'll try to upload it.

I don't disagree about his attitude, it's always been a black spot on his lustrous career. If he was something of more of a humanitarian like Zidane, Kaka, Ronaldinho, and if he wasn't so dedicated to Roma, I'm sure at a larger club he'd have been voted FIFA player of the year by now.

The Italians have alot hot heads, you could add Di Canio, and DeRossi to that list aswell.

Poulsen is an animal, everyone knows it. go watch how he pinched, kicked and pulled Totti's shirt in that game, also he insulted him on the pitch (UEFA didn't take any action, are you surprized?!)

At least be fair and mention that. So Totti did the least to empty himself (not that I approve it, hell no!)

Also, that picture does not prove anything at all! you must look at the video to prove that it was not accidental.

Yeah, the list goes on: Paul Gascoigne, Zineddine Zidane, Eric Cantona, Ali Karimi, ....

Lets say then all of them are worthless!

But, at the end, ITALIA is the WC06 Champions
