He was not a failure last year, he played really and was the third highest scorer, Chelsea wanted to keep him, but he desperately wanted to leave.

Because he did not like the lifestyle in London and neither did his family, he was also struggling to learn English. He said he only felt at home in Milan.

thats wat i wanted to say eventually, crespo is a player who has settled well in italy, but besides italy... he doesnt seem to be be successful anywhere else...

so far klose too has done very well in germany, but i think klose has superior qualities to crespo which can make him successful in other leagues and teams as well, the main one, is his ability to not rely on others only for scoring.
while crespo is mostly a finisher, he cant do much all by himself alone, klose is a player who is not only a good finisher but also a good chance creater.

thats why he and podolski made a good duo in germany or even klose-klasnic has been a very successful duo in bremen although both podolsk and klasnic are actually target men or finishers type of strikers, just like klose himself!

Klose is easily without a doubt, the most underrated yet effective goal scorer. It is truly incredible what a great goalscorer and how little praise he receives.
