Puma has released of a limited edition football boot to pay tribute to the Italian national team who won their fourth Soccer World Cup title in Germany. (www.splashpr.co.za)
Puma has announced a special release of a limited edition Italia Four Star v1.06 football boot to pay tribute to the Italian national team making history with its fourth World Cup title.
The Italia Four Star is a limited edition version of the popular v1.06 Puma statement boot which debuted in January 2006. Made with a stunning gold upper and accented with four stars - to commemorate Italy's four World Cup titles - the shoe will be produced in 2006 pairs only.
Each pair will be allocated a number and labelled with an official seal on the sockliner, along with the place and date of the championship game against France: Berlin 09-07-06.
"We wanted to celebrate Italy's and Puma's historic triumph in a special way," said Filip Trulsson, Puma Teamsport Business Unit Manager. "This product is a fitting tribute - a limited edition boot that evokes style, flair, emotion and creativity - epitomising the personalities of both Puma and Gli Azzurri."
The Italia Four Star shoe will come in a special packaging with a commemorative blue and gold shoebox featuring the autographs from all players on the World Cup winning team. In addition, each box will contain a special shoe bag and card acknowledging Italy's victory. No other European country has won four World Cups.
