I'm sure you all know more than anyone that this crap isn't new. These are the only times I'm happy Egypt participates in Africa when it comes to sport, because we're totally screwed over half the time we participate in an event in a "brotherly" gulf country.

What comes to mind immediately is a "friendly" against Kuwait earlier this year.

I kid you not.. Egypt scored a goal in the first five minutes AND THEY STARTED THE FREAKING GAME OVER. I swear on the Quran! I was in shock. Egyptian players were tackled in the box all game long. Eventually we scored again. In the final minute, a Kuwaity player tripped over his own feet.. the closest Egyptian player was a full 2 yards away and didn't even come close to touching the guy. The ref whistles for a penalty! Our keeper saved it though and they still got owned.

This stuff has been going on since at least the 1950's.

Qatar is a country with no pride. I hope they get real satisfacition from cheating coz thats all they are doing. In they're football, in they're basketball and everything. How can a country do that shit, its actually funny...

Hopefully our other rep. Navaei will get us the gold, he's winning against Afgahnistan.
We thank and support Mr.Kamran Delan for many years of dedication and service to Iranian Football Community.

Well I won't pass judgment until I see the video. I've seen too many topics like this turn out to be nothing more than sour grapes.

Judges gift host Qatar taekwondo gold at the expense of Iran
                    Doha, Dec 9, IRNA

                    Iran-Qatar-Sports
Iran 's 78kg welterweight taekwondo player Mehdi Bibak here Friday night was shamelessly victimized by the judges who had already decided to announce the Qatari finalist the gold winner.

Hikmat Abdulqader Sahran of Qatar, who was not at all of Bibak's caliber, was announced the 8-5 winner of the final farce.

Misjudgment was so clear that the Qatari officials sympathized with Bibak in the locker room and the home fans gave the Iranian a standing ovation during the medal-giving ceremony.

"They trampled upon my country's right," said Bibak, who was convinced by his coach and teammates to attend the ceremony and receive his silver medal.

Iran has delivered a letter to the organizers to express its strong opposition to misjudgment.

Earlier in the day, Iran's 58 kg representative Behzad Khodadad was also denied the final spot by the judges.

The judges should have given at least two points to Khodadad, but they preferred to announce his South Korea rival the 5-4 winner.

                    Khodadad bagged bronze.

In the 72 kg, the title holder Hadi Saei had already snatched a bronze jointly with Nesar Ahmad Bahave from Afghanistan. Saei blamed his injury for failing to win the gold.

Judges give Iran’s taekwondo gold to Qatar in final farce
DOHA, Dec. 8 (MNA) – Judges here Friday openly deprived Iran’s 78kg taekwondo player Mehdi Bibak of the top title in a bid to add a gold medal to host Qatar’s asset at the 15th Asian Games.

The Iranian was announced the 8-5 loser while he was at least denied five points.

Bibak’s teammate Behzad Khodadad, who represented Iran in the 58kg, was also a victim of misjudgment, snatching the bronze earlier in the day.

Khodadad, who lost 1-0 in the first round, fought back to hold his South Korean rival to a 3-3 stalemate in the second round, but misjudgment deprived him of the final spot, giving the Korean a 5-4 victory at the third time.

Iran took a bronze medal in the 72kg category Thursday as the injured title holder and Asian champion Hadi Saii and Afghanistan's Nesar Ahmad Bahave tied at No. 3.
