"Bertuzzi, who hasn't played since October because of back surgery, played left wing on Detroit's top line that was centered by Datsyuk and had Tomas Holmstrom on right wing." - espn

He didn't get a point and hit the post in Detroits overtime loss.

MF jaan, Guerin had been in a slump. Either way I'm no fan of Guerin and I don't think he is that great a player.

Guerins got a lot of playoff experience something San Jose can use. Never liked him much either but if you can add a sharpshooter before the playoffs, why not. He's basically a rent-a-player and will be gone in the summer.

Vancouver just beat the 2 best NHL teams. Best team record of '07, the way things are going they could win the Presidents trophy as the NHL's #1 team in terms of points. Not likely, but its really close at the top now.

Whats with the hate for Thornton?

He has 105 points, and is the running for two major awards, as projected by media. http://sports.espn.go.com/nhl/trophies You should count your blessings you have a great player. Look at Toronto they have Sundin.

Only a few games to go and there are only a few teams left in the running for the league title: Detroit, Nashville, Anaheim, and Buffalo.

Here are the current standings http://sports.espn.go.com/nhl/standi...e&seasontype=2

I'm predicting Detroit will win the league title.

In their four remaining games they play lowly Columbus and Chicago home and away. Detroit is also coming off a week where they defeated Nashville and Anaheim, although they lost to Dallas in overtime.

Three games left for Nashville: chicago, st. louis, @ colorado
Sakic being on fire means bad things for Nashville.

Three games left for Anaheim: san jose, @ dallas, @ columbus

Four games left for Buffalo: @ pitsburg, boston, @ washington, @ philidelphia

Wow montreal coming up big lately. I would LOOOVE it for it to all come down to the last game of the season: HABS VS. LEAFS.

Nashville is out of contention for the league title. The best they can do now is 110 points which would tie Detroit, who have two games in hand. Looks like you need to pick another team Sam.

Hopefully Edmonton will keep Calgary from clinching the eighth seed playoff spot tonight. Also injured Detroit needs a win against Chicago to keep their hopes of winning the league alive.

                  Finally, Go Habs !!

I don't think it can get any better (or worse) than this.
I heard some private/company seats have been auctioned, so I'm expecting the ACC to be packed and not like it's been in the last few weeks. It's going to be hard for our men to play in these conditions... It's OT or nothing!

i hate hockey, and especially the leafs cause everyone around here is upsessed with them. a couple years ago, our school started a rally going, which had about 600 ppl in it chanting "GO LEAFS GO" and walking around the school because they made the playoffs. since everyone loves hockey here, i have to do something, since i like basketball and in canada, its a minority on the rise.

die hard leafs fan right here....now the waiting game...isles lose, we're in...that's all it comes down to...jesus...

and in terms of basketball being a minority sport, i beg to differ...most high schools don't have hockey teams, but they will for sure have basketball

and come to my university, and u'll see the gym PACKED with basketball lovers 24/7, especially with the raps winning, toronto's basketball scene is only on its way up my friend

yeah no doubt about basketball on the rise, but if u look at basketball years back, it was nothing more than curling.

by minority, i meant basketball being a minority compared to hockey in canada, and for sure it will stay like that no matter what.

I was hoping Montreal made it. Unfortunately they didn't, so for the sake of Canada, I hope Leafs make it.

It's all right though, the Sens-Nucks final will be great.
