The comentator said everything except that the ref. was bought!!! UNBELIEVABLE!!!

First of all i know that this is completely the wrong place to post this, but still i would like to ask the admins to kindly let this thread be up atleast for a couple of hours. This is kind of ehsasati for me...

Sitting here writing this with all the anger and frustration and sadness is overwhelming. Simply put - its f**ked up.

If you saw the semifinals basketball game Iran-Qatar last night you would know exactly what im talking about. It has never ever been so obvious that a ref. was biased in a sertain teams favour or perhaps even had been bought. Completely UNBELIEVABLE.

The english commentator at one point in the third quarter said: "that foul was so obvious it was a tremendous mistake from the ref not to call it. If that faul was made by kids it would have been callade and severly reprecotioned/penalized." - basically the Qatari fouls the iranian after the iranian is airborn for a lay-up... How does he foul you ask... He sweeps the iranians "FEET" with his arms - WHEN THE IRANIAN IS IN MID AIR. The english comentator went on about it literally for minutes, also saying how he easily could have broken his ankle...

Another insident was the one at the buzzer in third quarter. The buzzer sounds indicating the end of the quarter and AFTER the buzzer the ball goes in to the basket... and the ref. gives Qatar the 2 points. WHAT!!!
At this point the comentary was almost extatic as if he could not believe what had just happened. The spectators in the arena and millions watching around the world sa that it went in after the buzzer. (and no, the ball was not airborn when the buzzer went. He threw the ball completely too late.)
The comentator couldnt keep himself from laughing...

And guess what - Qatar won by 3 points...

Could someone please explain how the Qatari teams dont protest themselves? Do they really not care how they win, as long as they win???
Im shore its not like this playing just with Iran but still...
How can they live with all this cheating time after time after time...
I mean come on, cheating in sports such as basketball and football - sports that they suck at anyways - has never got them anything - and never will.

this makes me wonder, once again...how could people forget just everything when the Qatari started a thread yesterday asking why Iranian were so furious and hostile towards them. Instead of grasping the oppurtunity to ask him and try to find out why they in such an official and open way mistreat Iranians people started to dollah-rast

Im not suprised by what the Qataris are doing, but if Qatar are playing dirty/cheating or what ever they are doing... whats that got to do with ALL ARABS?

Even other Arab countries are falling victims from what the Qataris are doing, and there's a lot of strong criticism on Qatar at the moment in the Arab Media (Newspapers and tv channels) from the issue of the Asian Player of the Year to the issue of getting athelets from africa and south america and giving them Qatari citizinship and all the latest controversy at the Asian games.

I don't get why you have to discredit the whole post by this comment.

I therefore cose this thread, if you are able to explain to me what for example our member South Iraq or the singer Cheb Mami (both Arabs) have to do with the Qatari basketball team and the referee or why they need to be insulted because of the circumstances you describe, I will re-open it.
